Not too far from City centre which is within walking distance. Free parking place in front of hotel. The rooms and furniture are very good. No restaurant in hotel except for breakfast which offers a good choice (hot and cold).Free Wifi with an excellent connection

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We used it as our base for four nights, and as we had the use of a hire car for the duration, the free parking facility was very useful. Our room was fine, but the reception areas, and stairwells, need an update. Breakfast was good, excellent selection and choice,...

The hotel suited all of my needs, you could be picked up and dropped off here for airport transfer and tours from any tour company, and it was centrally located within walking distance to anything you wanted to see in Reykjavik downtown. There was a geothermal pool, Sundhollir nearby, the oldest one in Reykjavik. The hotel is just a few...

The amazing (and included) breakfast makes this place. Their housekeeping is very persistent and want to clean your room. We got the studio room which is about double the standard room size. Our sofa had stains on it and the heating for the room was variable despite leaving the controls set. Our shower is very difficult to use. It's pretty...

Stayed for 4 nights, hoping to see the Aurora Borealis, that plan did not happen due to the quirks of Nature. BUT we both really enjoyed our first experience of this remarkable country, the people first and foremost, the amazing landscape the super food(expensive by uk standards) and in a wierd way the appalling weather and the ways in which...

Fosshotel Baron could definitely use an update, but that said, it is clean, quiet and well-located, plus a good value for the money. Great breakfast. Tip: if you are signed up for a bus trip, most likely others are also and the dining area is packed before the bus pick-up so plan accordingly. Staff is friendly and they let us...
