Be sure to close the windows if your room is on the street side when you go to bed. We forgot, and the street noise disturbed our sleep. Convenient location. The adjoining restaurant serves the breakfast.

Nice chep hotel in a good location. Room was clean, wifi reliable, staff nice. Near some loud bars though with live, and pretty good, music. Shared bathrooms also clean. Left luggage no problem. Would stay here again but bring ear plugs. But it was a Saturday night on Gay Priide day.

This is our first time visiting Iceland, the location is central, located at the corner of a major shopping street. It is a block away from the Chinese embassy, also 2 blocks away from the ocean. When you come out of the guesthouse, you can see the water and the mountains. Great view. I think it's a good price since...

I would not recommend this for your visit. This is a hostel, so there was not a private bathroom. My only complaint for this is just that the price for the room was too high for what you get. The bed was ok, but the room did not have dark curtains. Knowing the hours of light we brought sleep mask....

Pros: location and price Cons: dirty kitchen!! Items in refrigerator were OLD (some 3 months past expiration). Hot plate was disgusting, Needs to be renovated. Beds were OK. Clock alarm did not work! Showers apparently not cleaned very often (razor on shelf for three days). Our room 317 was very noisy (side of building - trash pick-up), shades not useful.

Good location and comfortable room. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean, comfortable, and met our needs, Although we had booked a shared bath, the hostess kindly upgraded us to the private bath en-suite on our arrival. Friendly, helpful staff, They are willing to make calls for you to confirm bookings. Be aware that the reception desk in not staffed...

If you are looking for an economical option, Guesthouse 101 is a pretty good option, location is very nice, and considering how expensive everything is in Reykjavik you gotta be happy with what they offer... Beds are decent, curtains offer just about sufficient darkness to allow you to sleep in the summer, but yeah, space is just about enough to...

The guesthouse is located at the end of the main street in Reykjavik; only a five minute walk to all the main bars/restaurants in the centre, and of course just a short walk home after a night on the town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating during our stay, we had fairly little interaction but I'd say it's a...
