This hotel is located right in the middle of the main shopping street, near all the bars and restaurants, with a 'Bonus' supermarket just a minute away - great location! We had read that the check in process was confusing, this is definitely not true. We didn't get to the hotel until late, however had no issues checking in at...

I have read about a confusing check-in process. This was not the case for us; clear instructions on how to contact the staff are on the front door. One simple phone call and the guests are in. The staff are wonderful, very friendly but then the same can be said about all of Iceland. Our room was clean, warm and...

Our first visit to Iceland, and this quaint little spot is just one of many reasons we will return! After trying and failing for several weeks (from the states) to ensure an early check-in, we were unsure of what awaited us at 6 am. There is no front desk, but an awkward entrance to a restaurant and a telephone, which...

We had 3 rooms booked and all were individually decorated and quirky! Perfectly placed to walk to all the attractions, pubs and restaurants. Sad the restaurant downstairs was closed for renovation even though it looked ready to open. Only a few minor faults of some lights in the rooms not working and no lights on the stairway between the 2nd...

I wrote a five star review about this place back in 2014. I just revisted it and it could not have fallen off as badly if they had tried. First of all, when we arrived at 11 there was nobody there to even let us in to drop off bags. We finally tracked someone down and they allowed us to...

Great location as it is situated right on the main street.Lots of places to go around, restaurants, souvenir shops, a big food shop opposite the hotel. The room was big enough, including kitchen with all necessary things. Very light and clean. Very comfortable king size bed, a soft sofa, a big bathroom. The bar downstairs was good. Many interesting dishes...

I booked OK Hotel for a birthday weekend away with my partner because of the fair prices, very central location, and because it looked like a fun and quirky place to stay. We knew that the reception was managed by a phone line as opposed to having staff present, and although we had seen this listed as a con by...

We booked OK Hotel for our last night's stay in Reykjavik. For us, it met our budget requirements, but it also seemed to have a lot of character. The hotel is connected to a bar downstairs, which was unfortunately under construction at the time of our stay, but it looks to be a promising and fun place to check out...
