I had booked this place to have a bit of a treat for our last two nights in Iceland . While I recommend it to people who don't mind paying the price . The whole thing screams average . We had a beautiful room however for the price we should have at least had a reasonable bathroom Nowhere to put...

This is a quaint hotel near the center of Reykjavik. The rooms are very nice but small. Our bed took up most of the room and we could only get into it from one side. It was comfortable, however. The bathroom had a bathtub which was relaxing after a cold day of sightseeing. The bathroom was oddly large compared to...

Quiet centrally located small lodging run by friendly and helpful people. I've already recommended this place to friends. By the way, Iceland is a must-see. The day tours offered are good, but renting a car and exploring on your own is better.

This is a small guesthouse in a residential district a short walk from downtown Reykjavik. Although the room was small and sparsely furnished, it was immaculate and comfortable enough for a short stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even apologized that the room wasn't ready to check in at 9 am and stored my luggage while I went...

More a B&B than a hotel. Quiet area. Friendly and helpfull staff. We had 3 rooms with bathroom. All basic and clean, Modest, but fine breakfast served in small kitchen area, but you can also sit in the garden (if weather permits).Walking distance of city center and the old harbour. Parking in front of Hotel and free in the weekends...

I've stayed here a couple of times and think it is an OK option, if you book early and get a low rate. The rooms are comfortable, all have bathrooms, and the location is good (near the harbor on a quiet one-way street about 5 minute walk from the downtown area). But, my ground floor room was quite noisy (front...

We stayed at this small family hotel. The staff were welcoming and very friendly. Our room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The Continental Breakfast was very good with a good choice. Would stay here again

Spent four nights here at the end of October.. warm welcome from the lady on reception. We had a small room on the first floor which was very clean, modern and warm. Tiny bathroom but perfectly adequate as when visiting such an awesome place as Iceland the last thing you want to do is stay in your room all day....

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Hilda, though it is not really what most Americans would call a hotel. Located just 2 minutes walk from the central downtown square on a quiet residential street, Hotel Hilda is a converted large home. This has both pluses and minuses. The rooms all vary, and some aspects can be inconvenient. We stayed in...

Worst experience ever. The hotel was under construction and didn't bother to inform the potential guests of their plans. Impossible to talk inside the hotel due to the noise. The dining area for breakfast was a joke. It didn't even fit our group together, we had to eat separately. Lack of respect to clients, if they are expecting to have...
