The hotel is central handy for everything, lots to see the museums, visitors center a lovely lake to sit by and enjoy the sun birds and people watch my favourite pastime. We went to see the lights but missed out we saw the falls very good we wanted to go to the blue lagoon weather was awful, we saw the geysers...

I enjoyed Iceland immensely and this hotel was one reason for this. There were many guests in this hotel but the large staff in reception and kitchen made check-in and buffet breakfasts smooth sailing. I had a room overlooking the plaza and the noise from the square below can be bothersome. The location couldn't be any better. I will be...

The location is wonderful. It's walking distance to most things you'll do in Reykjavik, and parking is pretty easy despite being in the busy city center. Their breakfasts are to die for! Fresh homemade bread, an assortment of jams, oatmeal, fruit, eggs, bacon and sausage, cheese, pickled herring, Arctic char roe, and homemade granola bars. Wow! I had bread and...

Stayed here for 4 days at this Hotel. Not too much to say apart from the staff and facilities were fantastic and the location was brilliant. Having breakfast included was a major plus and it was also very good. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone looking to visit Iceland. Loved this Hotel and Iceland!!

The room we had was spacious, including en-suite, LCD TV and mini bar. Downside: not a great view from the room window. A fantastic choice of buffet breakfast, enough to fill you up for a long day of sightseeing. The hotel is perfectly located near the main shopping street, harbour and many bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Bus stop for...

We stayed a couple days at a locale guesthouse then moved here when we decided to extend our stay. Hotels in Iceland are expensive and this was a great value compared to the guesthouse. We were able to check in early - 10:30 a.m. The reception was able to arrange our airport transfer and store our luggage before departure. We...

We booked a trip through Friendly Planet to Iceland. They booked this property for our stay. The best part about the Center Hotel Plaza is it's location, walking distance to everywhere right in the heart of the city center. There are so many restaurants and pubs you can't hit them all and lots of little shops. In addition the staff...

The hotel is in the best location in Reykjavik walking distance to plenty of restaurants, bars and local attractions. The service at reception and breakfast were excellent but the rooms are very basic. We had an awful view of some flats at the back of the hotel room 362 but it was quiet and not a bad size. There was...

It was quite a basic hotel, the rooms were more 2 star than 3 star. Very friendly staff, great selection at breakfast, something for everyone - sausages, breads, pastries, cheese and hams. Shampoo and body wash provided. Very clean
