Recently stayed here for 7 nights. Lovely room on the top floor with great views across the city and harbour area. Very clean and good choice at breakfast. Location couldn't be better. Plenty of places to eat nearby and harbour area only a 5 min walk. Staff all very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel right in the centre of Reykjavik. You get 3 star but clean and very friendly/helpful staff. Breakfast buffet good and is included but there is no variation to the offerings on a daily basis. Location is in good walking distance of restaurants but can be noisy at night.

The hotel is located right in the center of Reykjavik. Many of the shops, restaurants, and sights were walking distance. The tourism center is right next door, so you can simply stop in there for any questions, information on tours, and exchanging currency. We found our room to be comfortable and clean. We noticed that some of the upper floors...

What a perfect hotel. The rooms were comfortable, clean and large. The lobby was inviting and active. They serve a delicious breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh breads, oatmeal) each day. The location was fantastic in the middle of shops, pubs and restaurants ND steps from the harbor. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel. We also visited some...

Perfect location: within easy walking distance of the city's sights and cafes. Great room: clean, safe, spacious, with windows that open and an 8th floor balcony view. Excellent staff: knowledgeable, helpful, and personable. An adequate breakfast: well prepared and presented but could have benefited from a little more day to day variety, a few cooked vegetables, and an urn of...

The CenterHotel Plaza is located right in the heart of Reykjavik, next to a little square. Propably the best location in town, with dozens of restaurants, the old harbour and Harpa concert house all with in five minutes walk. The hotel looks modern on the outside and common spaces (lobby, restaurant, breakfast room are all new or recently refurbished. Several...

Not sure I'd rate this a four star hotel, more a three, but as such, no complaints. The rooms were small and bathrooms very small but everything was clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was a full buffet. Great location in the centre of everything. If three star is you thing this is...

The Plaza is the center of the tourist district. It's a few blocks from the harbor. If you're looking for convenience, cleanliness and adequate room size, I'd recommend. Breakfast buffet is included--bacon, eggs, oatmeal, cheese, cold cuts etc. Airport transportation: FlyBus recommended. No schedule worries--if there's a flight, there will be a bus. Buses go to a terminal where you...

Picked the hotel for location and price.....very satisfied. The hotel is adjacent to the main tourist office so organising trips was very easy. Bars and restaurants were near by...great hotel choice. Will stay there again.

Great Hotel, we used it for a 3 day stop over on the way to Europe. It is a great way to break up the trip. Location of the hotel is the best aspect, but all other aspects were pretty much perfect. Highly recommended.

“Avoid over the bridge rooms, accessed from elevator to the third floor.”
  • Not so great standard.
  • Not so nice with a missing picture in an already quite boring room.
  • Nothing more than a simple soap available.
