First of all don't expect lavish exteriors for hotels in Reykjavik, from what I've seen they're nearly all just concrete blocks and unassuming. Once you step inside this hotel though it's beautifully designed with lots of detail and even water trickling down the face masks on wall as you enter reception. The rooms are not huge but very comfortable with...

Best breakfast worth $100 for two people easy, great staff and interior style. Right in the heart of town ❤ walk to shopping, sites, restaurants. Beaytiful Spa. About 40 minutes to Blue Lagoon - get tickets well before trip and enjoy Iceland!

The hotel and staff were all top notch. We loved the location, Just a few steps and you are on the main area of downtown Reykjavik where shopping and dining are plentiful. Its very convenient to airport, bus terminal and day trips buses pick you up right in front of hotel. We arrived on a red-eye early in the morning...

We booked the CenterHotel Thingholt as part of a travel package with Iceland Air and from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, the staff could not have been any more accommodating. We had an overnight flight and arrived at the hotel exhausted and cold at 7am in the morning. As expected, our room wasn't ready so...

My sister and I stayed in this hotel for five nights in February. The location is perfect, close to the harbor, shopping, and museums. The breakfast is outstanding, and everybody who worked there was very friendly and helpful. The room and bedding were very nice. Our only issues were that the room lighting was a little weak, and in the...

Ideal location for a downtown Reykjavik stay. A quick walk to many sights. Bus tours pick you up at hotel. Delicious abundant breakfast, very comfortable room with a large bathroom. Common areas and lobby very tasteful and inviting. There is an exercise room and small spa. The staff is gracious and very helpful!!

We stayed here on a 5 day visit to Iceland. The staff are brilliant, really cannot do enough for you. Breakfast is good too, lots of choices. Our room was fine, comfortable bed, chairs and a small table, plenty of room. However, the bathroom is weird. A perfect example of style over practicality! Glass walls and a door that doesn't...

We stayed for two nights in February and found the staff really welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable, if a little small and very quiet. The breakfast had a good selection and was available early to fit in with tours. The hotel is in a great position for central Reykjavik with plenty of restaurants, bars and shops close by.

Charming hotel in an ideal location. The service was wonderful and the room was very nice. One thing to note on a Friday and Saturday nights the downtown is very open late and it's LOUD, so bring earplugs or join in. The breakfast that is included is very nice and offers a good variety of choices. We look forward to...

The hotel is very clean. We stayed on the 4th floor, and our room must have been smaller than the lower floors as our window was set back from the building roof line. That made the room very small. The bathroom was almost as big as the sleeping area, but the layout of the bathroom was poor with a lot...
