Because Iceland is soooo expensive, booking an apartment is a very wise move. Ours was appointed to a high quality, with sensio coffee machine, induction hob, combi grill, oven, microwave and fridge with small freezer. Even a dish washer! The bathroom is very cool and the bed very comfortable. The staff are friendly and although we had one or two...

We stayed for three nights and it was mostly fine. The staff were very helpful (removing a glass coffee table which my kids had on their 'to smash' list. Unfortunately the walls aren't all that thick and there were a couple of times that a slamming door woke a couple of us up. Some silly little things, the kettle was...

This apartment was perfect for what we need for our week stay. The location was great and we didn't have far to walk to any of the main attractions. We were hoping to see the lights but unfortunately whilst we were there Iceland was hit by a huge storm which meant we didn't get to see any lights and most...

Great place. Good but rooms are cramped and somewhat badly designed. The bathroom doors are sliding transparent glass and sometimes do not work so be careful if you want privacy. That said, the owners are rather woefully aware of the problem and are likely to be fixing it soon. It will be a much better hotel after that

We highly recommend Apartment K. We stayed there this week and we were impressed by the very professional, helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious, comfortable, well heated (which is a must during Icelandic winter) and with the convenience of a kitchen area as well. It was centrally located with many places to go out, from cafes to restaurants...

The location is reallly in the centre of the main street, there are so many parking places in the city,so if u have a car, don't worry about the parking.the room is clean but there is something wrong with the WIFI,for us,it's difficult to connect the internet. After all,it's a comfortable journey.

The 5 stars are based on what they promised. It is in an excellent location, within walking distance to almost every attraction in the city. The staff were beyond courteous, they were friends while we were there. The apartment sleeps 3 if you include the futon that is there. They have a washer and dryer in the room (you don't...

I'm from the US. Everyone at the front desk was SO nice. I didn't know anything and they helped me every step of the way. Even when I was a pain and asked to change rooms, they accommodated. The hotel is in the perfect spot in between everything. Lots of parking nearby. Stay here, for sure.

not one to judge but I think the couple of reviews below are slightly blown out of proportion...Iceland is quite a geothermic country (who knew!) and therefore the water will obviously have some sulphur in it. That does not, however, mean that it's not drinkable. Quite the opposite, in fact! Anyway, I digress. My girlfriend and I stayed here for...
