I stayed at the 22 Hill Hotel January 9-12. While it is not located right downtown Reykjavik, it is just about 20 minutes walk there. It is conveniently located a few steps away from Laugavegur St. which is one of the main streets in the city. The beds are very comfy as many other reviewers have attested. The bedroom was...

We stayed in Reykjavik for a few days before doing a driving tour of the Golden Circle. This is a great hotel with spacious rooms, lovely decor and the breakfast was also very good. The location is a 5-10 minute walk from the main sights of Reykjavik so it's very central yet quiet at night which is nice. The staff...

Landed here on new year eve with heavy snow and rank bad weathers. You can take bus from airport which is good 50 minute drive. Well the room was small really small, hardly any place to walk around or sit except on the bed. Small shower area. You have radiator in the room just next to bed. If you keep...

Very comfortable Hotel, with free coffe/tea in the corridors.. Rooms reasonable size, however the shower is very small, only room for one person, but no bending over to clean your feet...lol. Great staff on reception, full of good ideas when it came to places to go and locations for the best chance of spotting Northern Lights.

Hotel was brilliant, staff very helpful especially Deborah on reception. Bedrooms very comfy and warm all the time. Not to far from town about 15min walk. Would suggest to hire a car especially if going as a family was so much easier and cheaper to go see the sights.

This is a great hotel for a short stay. Simple standard rooms were warm, comfy bed, clean bathroom with hot shower, helpful staff. Nice coffee facility in the hotel. Good location, 10-20 minute walk to central Reykjavik. Book with confidence.

Hotel is in a great location, close to the main city streets for shopping/dining and the harbour (5 min walk to both). There is free parking out the front if you have a loan car. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had small/average variety/selection but the coffee is the best I'd had pre made at...

When first approaching this hotel, it does not look very impressive. However, upon entering, you are greeted by a friendly front desk staff person and a clean and attractive lobby. My single room was small, but clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was adequate. Considering that my plan was to spend most of my time outside...

stayed in an Economy Double Room for 4 nights, the room and accompanying breakfast was very basic - the room definitely did not look like the picture shown at all and the breakfast was very substandard bathroom was extremely small (especially the shower area, which does not allow a person to turn at all without hitting something) the only saving...
