We rent a car and went through all Iceland in 10 days and this guest house was the worst (sorry to say)- but really, in comparison to all the others this one was not so good. The manager was really rude when we arrived telling us that there was no food at all in Reykjavik at 3am when there was...

After 2 years away, we found that Snorri's was better than ever. Magnus runs an excellent hotel/guesthouse - and we enjoyed the triple room with en-suite. The breakfast is great with a wide choice of cold buffet - and nothing is too much trouble. Very clean with comfortable beds. The location is really good. The centre of Reykjavik is only...

This is the second time that we've stayed here. The staff is both efficient and pleasant - Magnus is a wealth of information and reservations (transportation to the airport) handled efficiently. The hotel is very quiet. I understand that some rooms have shared bathrooms, but ours was ensuite. After a couple of weeks of fairly plain accommodations as we toured...

We stayed in a separate building to the main building, but they were side by side. The bedroom we got had three single beds and we shared the bathroom and the kitchen with one other room of two people. The rooms were clean; the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, plates, glasses, etc. The bathroom had...

We had a room with a shared bathroom, only no one else was in that portion of the guesthouse, so we ended up with our own. Room was tidy. We stayed two nights. Staff was very friendly and very helpful inn helping us book tours.

We stayed a total of 3 nights at this guesthouse and cannot rate it highly enough. We were upgraded the first night which was a lovely surprise but the other rooms we stayed in were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The host is delightful and so helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fantastic. I've never tasted more delicious bread. On...

We stayed here during our round the world trip and it was honestly one of our favourite accommodations. We were given a beautiful room which included a little dining table by the window where we sat and watched the delicate snow fall in a typical Icelandic February. The shared bathroom was so clean and warm with luxury toiletries. The Guest...

We had a great time staying at the Snorri's Guesthouse in March 2015 (I can't change the automatically chosen date). We had a nice and clean room, they serve a great breakfast and the location is perfect for exploring Reykjavik as the guesthouse is in walking distance to downtown. There is also free parking around the corner. Thanks for the...

Absolutely the best thing at Snorri's is that guests can use the excellent kitchen between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m....so saving lots of money on restaurant/cafe meals. Breakfasts are excellent - in the ground-floor semi-garden room: excellent choice of food - juices, cereals, breads, meats, cheese, yoghurts, fruits... Location is great - just cross the road to view aurora from...

All around good place to stay. For Reykjavik, this place is a good value for the money. It is very clean, host is helpful and informative, location is excellent, and the breakfast is tasty. Easy to walk to downtown but also easy for parking/driving. Great stay.
