Trip advisor will not let me share a link. I recommend you google westmann island ferry and find the times and book in advance. We did take our car on the ferry. It is easier to have your suitcases and things this way... More

There is definitely no road. You must take a ferry. The ferry can be cancelled if weather is bad. We were stranded overnight on the island. Don't leave your stay on the island too close to your departure from Reyklavik to... More
