Stay here for 1 night during our Iceland road trip. The hotel reception was shared with icelandair hotel vik which was very pretty and the service staff were polite. The rooms at hotel Edda were basic and clean. Good enough for a 1 night stopover. Love the morning views of the lobby of hotel.

This hotel was clean and comfortable but the rooms are definitely basic. The room and bathroom were fine but it certainly wasn't the best room I stayed in during my time in Iceland. Hotel Edda shares a Reception with an adjoining Icelandair Hotel and they have clearly put a lotmore effort into the more upmarket hotel. Hotel Edda Vík is...

This hotel was perfectly fine for what you need it to be. A comfortable bed, in a central location at a decent price. You won't find anything "cheap" in Iceland (by NA standards) but this hotel was reasonably priced with all the amenities someone SHOULD want or expect. It is quite rustic and very cozy and I am not just...

The Hotel has a history of an earlier time in the Icelandic tourist industry -then basic accommodations in schools were a temporary measure to meet a surge in tourism. Now, it's not enough. The rooms were very small and efforts to add on resulted in a confusing set of directions. One could not park near the front door to unload...

I would have given this hotel an average rating of 3/5 if I hadn't seen random hairs in the bathroom (on the ground and stuck to the hand towel). Since my hair is black and the hairs on the ground/towel were light brown, I'm 100% sure it was not my own hair. I paid $130 CDN for the room and...

We stayed here in mid-October for 1 expensive night, in a cottage. Staff was friendly, and beds were comfortable, but it was very cold when we arrived at the cottage. There's only wifi in the main lobby, so that was pretty inconvenient. Bathroom was very cramped, and walls are very thin. I wouldn't stay here in the winter, it took...

This place is connected to a much larger hotel but I was surprised at how nice our room was. Very clean, nice view and with access to the connecting hotels restaurant and bar. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel seems to be bolted onto the fancier Icelandair hotel on the same grounds, with a common check in and restaurant. Booked a cottage which was a walk outside from the main building and had no wifi. It was split between two rooms with not a great deal of sound insulation and basic but comfortable facilities. Breakfast at the...

A bed, a television, a cheap smelly kettle with a couple of cardboard cups. We had a shower and toilet that were clean and there wasn't much fault in a standard hotel room. I may add however that the walls are EXTREMELY paper thin. We heard next door on one side open and close their door at least 5 or...

We stayed 2 nights in the farthest cottage from the main hotel. The rooms are very large and while they could use a bit of freshening up (and new pillows) but they were very clean. Breakfast is in the main hotel and was excellent, with a large variety of offerings. Wifi does not reach the cabins, but this is noted...
