The location of this hotel is excellent, on the seafront. A good position for exploring different regions on the island. Plenty of cafes/restaurants close to the hotel. There is a large Italian influence in many of the eating establishments, but good food and choice overall.

They do have a laundry service, but I have never used it, as it is quite expensive. If you come out of the Preluna and turn right, and walk towards the ferries, then turn right at Next and come back on yourself, walk up the narrow street, past the Superdry store on your left, you come to Tower Supermarket. Next to it is a multi-storey car park, walk up the pedestrian way, past the car park office and there is a laundry service shop. I use them all the time, they wash, dry and fold, for €10 a load, and it's ready the next day. Brilliant service, and nice people in the place. Highly recommended them. It's about a 5 minute walk.

Theres a laundry sevice which you’ll need for a three week stay. Theres a line in the bathroom for hanging undies and swimming costumes. If you have a balcony you’ll have ample room to hang clothes, towels, etc over the outdoor furniture. (Everyone does).

Our room looked out over the middle of the hotel and some rooms opposite. To be honest we didn’t spend that much time in the room, there are lots of great spots on the terraces or from the roof top bar to get great views.

"Sea view with Balcony: higher up is best. Inland rooms quieter."
