Disappointing accommodation. I do not understand how this place has the Trip Advisor recommendation it appears to have which is why I booked it. Good location, good wifi, character building outweighed by the following - difficulty communicating with staff including by e mail; mix up with booking resulting in a promise I would not be charged for one night to...

The antique room smells foul. Serious humidity problem. There water was freezing cold, although there was a heater "on" at several hours, it never provided hot or even warm water for more than 2 minutes. There was free wifi and wifi "signal" however it never actually worked. The building IS beautiful! The common area and rooftop terrace as well. I...

A stunning 17th Century Palazzo in the middle of the old town of Valletta. It has a gorgeous roof terrace with great views from the very top. The breakfast is basic with just cereal and toast and processed cheese slices and jam but it does the job and the rooms are full of character with comfy beds. (although the choice...

If you're lucky enough to get a room this is the place to stay. Each room has it's own distinctive character, I stayed in the Antique room and the French room, stylishly designed and with a piano in the former. Great terrace and living spaces, comfortable beds... all you need.

A lovely place to stay in Valletta. We had the Caravaggio room for a week (Very cheap in dec.) I would recommend it! And in general Valletta is a great place to stay. The room type was Superior Twin Private (Shared bathroom with 3 other rooms which was no problem for us at all). Simple breakfast in a fancy dinning...

Our host Gianfilippo welcomed us in the hostel and showed us around the amazing 16th century house. Each morning he made us excellent Italian coffee and was a great host in every aspect. Our room – located in the ground floor – was beautifully decorated and cool in the night, although it was summer. It was very peaceful and quiet...

I stayed on the first floor of the Palazzo for three nights. The palazzo itself is a few minutes walk from the main bus terminal and right next to all the main spots in Valletta so the location was great. The place is very charming and well decorated and the view from the roof is not to be missed. The...

The staff were super helpful and made us feel very welcome. We had a downstairs room just off the inside courtyard. The beds were very comfortable and there was barely any street noise. The location is top notch, can basically walk right out into the city. This place has everything you need and I cannot recommend enough!!

We stayed in the sea view apartment, at an easy distance from the hostel itself. It took us about 10 minutes to get there on foot. The apartment is basic, but well maintained and from the balcony you can enjoy the lovely view over Valletta and the Mediterranean. The ferry to Sliema is just down the stairs and the bus...
