Clever photography make this hotel look grander than it really is. I now know that the harbour is the Grand Harbour, and the hotel would otherwise be called the Harbour Hotel!! It looks spectacular on the outside, but, unfortunately, it is much less so inside. My room was generous and clean, but I couldn't work at the 'desk' because it...

The location and the quality of the service are the main reasons for staying at this hotel. It is very central and conviently located, and the staff went out of their way tio make our stay a pleasant one. Unfortunately, the hotel itself is in bad need of refurbishment. We had a bad experience with a leak on the floor...

This is a basic hotel, but it was comfortable. The bed and shower are fine, and the location was central in Valetta. The breakfast was ordinary and so I would eat out for breakfast. Although it was fine, I wouldn't stay here again, but it was the best hotel I could book at short notice.

We arrived in Valletta early and found the Grand harbour right on the water front. It turned out our room was on the top level and had an external deck that looked over the harbour as well as the surrounding buildings. We loved this hotel and the staff were very happy to help us in any way possible. When we...

perfect location, glorious view. Rm 602 looks right across the water to Fort St Angelo. The ferry dock to it is 100 m away. Great friendly staff, perfectly clean room, Perfect views from the roof terrace, abundant breakfast. Bed is firm (my preference). Not 5 stars only because it's not big and fancy, just nice simple but good sized room...

Robert and Mario who own this are so friendly and helpful they deserve their own page on Tripadvisor!. We were a group of 14 persons and there was not one grumble. Breakfast was fabulous. Most rooms got cleaned whilst you...

We were on a four day walking trip to Malta with five other couples, and the Grand Harbour Hotel was perfect in terms of price (mid market) and location. We all had harbour views, which were all of a good size, very clean and comfortable. The views over the harbour were wonderful, and the eight minute steep walk up to...

Cheerful staff. Room (604) a bit cramped but perfectly adequate for the couple of nights we stayed. Up the steps outside the hotel leads you to restaurants and bars. Close to the Malta Experience which was a great introduction to Maltese history.

We just had the one night at the Grand Harbour Hotel and stayed in a Harbour View room. Room was small but we really didnt spend much time in there so it wasnt a problem. Free wifi is great. There is a great roof patio which has a stunning view of the Grand Harbour. Breakfast was good considering the size...
