In answer to the recent response to my review: I noted my complaints immediately upon arrival and did not receive a response from the management until my last day, when I had already written my review (in hopes of finally getting a reply). There was absolutely no note of any renovation planned when I made the booking on June 10 (only a month before my stay). Management added one clarifying note to the booking website *only after* I had made a complaint (on July 15), and now is lying that this information was always available. The paltry (less than 10 euro) discount on my 3-day stay grudgingly and finally offered by management hardly makes up for all the loss of time and enjoyment I got because I made the mistake of staying at the British Hotel. Don't make the same mistake! Shame on the owners!

You are not alone... Many people have had thier fingers burned at this place due to sharp practice by the owners who seem to have nothing but contempt for folks who pay them good money.
