We would have liked to have checked in before 3pm, having been en-route since 3am that morning.
However, this was soon forgotten when we settled in. We cannot fault the facilities, service and friendliness of the staff.

I stayed here during the fireworks festival and was a bit disappointed that the roof could not be used to view them, but no matter. I still enjoyed my stay.

We went to Malta because we were attending a wedding at another hotel nearby and also made it into a holiday. The setting is perfect as it is 10 minutes walk into the capital, Valletta and the the back of the hotel overlooks the sea...More
We are spending a few nights at this hotel and like many in Malta, it needs a good refurb. The rooms and shared areas are dated and could do with a make over.
Overall, the hotel has some good facilities but it does get spoiled...More

It is literally Grand! We enjoyed our stay immensely. Service is without flaw; English spoken, there is a full buffet dinner at the main restaurant, but we found the bar food very tasty and less expensive. B'fasts are the best deal. Everything on offer from full
English to Maltese specialities and eating later, we skipped lunch we were so full. It is within a 20 minute walk of dt Valletta. After the steps and the hill, it's straightforward walking. I have walking disability and did not find it difficult. And one can always pause if this is an issue, admire the views from the top of the steps. It's a lovely setting. We were there in Winter so summer visiting will allow for all the offerings, i.e., pool side refreshment, etc. There's an indoor pool as well as an exercise fitness room which I used. We thoroughly enjoyed are stay and are considering coming down again this Summer. Best of luck!
