This hotel has rooms a bit tired and will welcome a renovation. Location is really good with train station and full of buses including the one going to the airport just in front of the door: It is really worth it to stay and will go back again next time in town. Cold breakfast is not worth it, and buffet...

The room 705 was cold as ice, the AC was insufficient. Portable air heater provided by the Reception helped slightly, but it was still chill freeze. No good experience, especially when paying more than 200 EUR per night...

A rather shabby 60s/70s railway station hotel in urgent need of refurbishment. The water stained carpets and depressing guano spattered room views will not bring customers back, especially at these prices. And if you advertise a Business Centre, a working printer should be part of it. Get a grip Mercure, you have well known brand to safeguard.

I have stayed here several times and always enjoy the friendly and effecient service. Great breakfast and a good bar/bistro that serves same food as in the more formal restaurant. My room this time (425) was disappointingly very worn down and really need a make-over; in particular the carpet, which was heavily stained and discoloured. Daily cleaning however, was up...

Conveniently opposite the station and about 20 minute walk to the Old Town. Large but tired room on 6th floor. Room was air conditioned and had a safe, fully stocked mini-bar and flat screen TV. good size wardrobe. Carpet was badly worn, faded and stained, cobweb on bedside table and a broken chair. Good size bathroom with full size bath,...

I use this hotel mostly for business lunches. The choice of dishes is not very vast but the quality is good and the service is fast. 90% of the time I go for the dish of the day which is has a good quality-price ratio.

I left the place yesterday. when youre paying a 250 euro/day stay you expect a lot more than what was offered. first they said they had free shuttle to the airport upon request and once requested, the answer was that the service was not available that day. also when ordered room service about 21h30, felt asleep waiting for it, that...

We stayed here 4 nights as part of a package tour. We arrived by train and this hotel is located just across the busy thoroughfare. Our room, 211, was large with twin beds, separate toilet and bathroom. Surprisingly there was a kettle, but no other tea/coffee making facilities, ie. any cups or spoons. We ate here 2 nights and the...

If you need to stay centrally with big rooms, nice breakfreast, WiFi and a great hotel bar this is the place. Only downside is that it's somewhat outdated with small tvs and very suspicious stained carpets all over. Cleaning was OK.

“The rooms at the front could be quite noisy - there are street works at night at the weekend. Rooms at the back are quiet but no view. Use the aircon rather than opening the windows as screaming jets will waken you at 6am as the airport is very near the city and the hotel is right on the approach!”
