First of all called to book a hotel room and due to the period where young people go as groups to Kakopetria the man answering the call was extremely rude and angry for no specific reason and even if he had a reason that is not the right manner to treat a guest of any age. Moreover when we arrived...

We loved the Ekali hotel in Kakopetria. our room had a spectacular view of the city, great breakfast, location and professional staff. I totally recommend it. Also the village is very beautiful, the old town and the trails you can do are amazing.

We stayed one night in November (Mill Hotel was closed) 50 Euros for a basic room - firm mattress double, single and fold out beds, en suite, tv, air con, no kettle, friendly man on desk, generous breakfast, nice view, small balcony.

Andreas is the wonderful man who owns and runs this charming place which has been in his family for generations. We were lucky enough to go midweek just at the beginning of low season so it was a quiet day for the hotel and Andreas had time to chat with us. He's a very interesting and lovely man who clearly...

We enjoyed a recent overnight stay at the Ekali hotel on a tour around the mountain villages. Although a little dated, the location and very obliging and friendly staff more than make up for that. If you ask for a view down to the sea, you will not be disappointing - its a fabulous vista. The in-room WiFi had a...

We stayed here one night in the month of July and found the room to be comfortable (good firm bed, good water pressure in the shower), nicely air-conditioned, clean, with a great view toward the Mill restaurant, and with excellent wifi free in the room. The owners were welcoming and very understanding that we needed to make an early departure...

A clean hotel but nothing more. It could have been anywhere in Cyprus. Nothing to show you that you are on the mountain, near the forest, in a village. Underground restaurant without view. It needs restoration. The breakfast medium, no fruits, nothing traditional, nothing Cypriot.

Welcoming staff, and the owner is very accommodating friendly, and helpful, and funny. Exceptionally clean, lovely view from room 425, which is a family room, double and two singles and a balcony over looking the old village. Basic hotel, quiet location, provides all you need visiting the Troodos mountains. Breakfast, is simple, but ample choice. Bar prices very reasonable. Nice inside...
