Well, this isn´t the Ritz-Carlton – and it doesn´t pretent to be... We booked it for one night because it is very close to a place I had to visit for several hours and I didn´t want to drive back to Paphos at night. And for 1 night it was quite OK – but not better than OK! Would I want to spent my holiday there if I have a budget for a better hotel? Certainly not! Is it OK for for the back-packer with limited funds? Yes, absolutely it is! Very basic, small rooms, but we found it clean and the WiFi was working (more or less). It´s noisy, though, if you have a room facing the street, even on the fourth floor. The AC was working just fine and heated up the room nicely, too. So basically we didn´have anything major to complain about. But of course it is a 1-star-hotel and it shows. But as a 1-star-hotel it is quite acceptable! So what grade does it deserve? Hard to judge, actually. I settle for an average 3...…
I intended to stay there for 4 nights but during the second day I've found bugs. As I'm very picky so I've checked the bed immediately when I opened my room.A mattress was so dirty (looks like they haven't been cleaning it for years) so I asked for a room change. Next day I saw bugs running around inside of wardrobe. No idea what it was. Could be cockroaches. When I showed my video of it to the hotel staff they became so angry like I was stepping on their feet. So I had to find another hotel. When I spoke with manager/owner of Village hotel he didn't even say that they are sorry for such awful service. Instead he explained that such cockroaches are normal in this hotel and that's why they hide sugar now. When I was leaving I saw a spider near shoes. In addition I can say that both rooms were very dirty. I think this is "outstanding" hotel for vacation. To add a positive note: location is good. It's close to Marina and beach.…
The room was rather small, mostly occupied by the two person bed. It took me some time to smartly organize my luggage, so I started to feel Despite being a bit dated, the room cosy and tidy, there is AC, fridge, wardrobe, two British sockets in the room, separate toilet with shower. No balcony, but high floors offer view to Limassol. The Archiepiskopou Leontiou road is quite busy during day time, but no noise at night. There is a restaurant on the ground floor, where reception is. They serve breakfast for 7.50€. The reception is 24 hours and they will ask you to leave the key, when you are out, because of daily cleaning of the room. There is good Internet connection on each floor and each room, also in the restaurant. Limassol has the main bus station in the new port, which is on the western side of the city. To take bus to Larnaca, you should go to promenade 1.8 km, the stop is not so far from the Limassol Cathedral. To go to Paphos or Troodos, take the bus next to the Old Hospital 550 meters from the hotel. Note, that Paphos bus doesn't enter the bus station, but stops on the main road. Limassol has the very long city beach, but unfortunately it is more towards East, so it is 2.3 km from the hotel. But one can swim from the pier in the Old Harbor, and it is in 1.9 km, in the begining of promenade. Depths is about 5m there, so one has to be confident swimmer. I liked that place, because no need to clean legs from the sand. The hotel is located close to quite a few restaurants, so eating out is not a problem. For grocery shopping the best place is Papantoniou Supermarket in 650 meters, check the map it is hard to find. 850m to Sklaventis and 2.5km to Jumbo mall, where one can find Alphamega. 1.1km to Stephanis - electronics shop. The distance to the old city center (Limassol Castle) is 1.6 km.…
The best one star hotel I've ever been to. Cheerful and professional staff available 24/7, the room was clean and equipped with the essential stuff. Close to the center, quiet during the night, large parking available. Excellent quality/price.
This hotel is very well located near to the Marina. The staff of the hotel is very kind and helpfull. I would define this place as very amazing because of the place and the staff. They great you everyday and if you want they clean your room everyday for free. I would recommend this place to everyone.
