Spent a week here as a couple. Couldn't really fault it. Definitely the full 5 star treatment. The surrounding are nice, the pools are really nice. The food was great. Nothing to not like. Staff all very helpful. Twenty minute walk to Paphos town along the coast makes a nice walk.

Elysium is a beautiful property boasting expansive pool space and a beautiful seafront lawn. I was delighted to be upgraded from a Deluxe Room to a Thalia Suite. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished. The view over the pool and to the sea was beautfiful. The minibar was impressive and not too overpriced. The shower water pressure was good....

When one arrives at Elysium Hotel parking it makes you wonder whether you are in Disneyland. The design of the hotel is just hideous all the way through. One can see on the internet that Elysium hotel architect did not win the Priztker Price. However, the reality is brutal and hotel's public area looks really repelling. The room was really...

I have reviewed this hotel before but I thought anybody from the old Amathus Hotel who is still looking for an alternative might like to know what the Elysium can offer. Firstly those of us who switched to the Elysium could not believe what we had been missing in the previous years. This year the taxi had not come to...

We visited in mid-October as a consolation after a holiday we had planned in July somewhere else was cancelled due to a medical emergency. It was our first vacation for us as husband-wife-son only, so we were looking for something warm, relaxing and family friendly. In summary, we were so satisfied with the hotel that we hope to come back....

The one thing that makes your stay at this hotel special is the friendliness, politeness and general customer care shown by all STAFF. Food is good, rooms are good and overall this hotel is a lovely place to stay and relax. We had one concern though. Despite assurances from the hotel management that their forthcoming 4 month closure (commencing 3...

We have our own place in Peyia but decided to visit here for afternoon tea and a look round the hotel. Firstly the staff who served us were first class who advised us of our options, explained about the upcoming closure and a bit of history of the hotel. The tea was very good (23.95 Euros for two) and despite...

I visited Elysium for breakfast only as I was visiting friends who were staying there. At 20 euros the breakfast wasn't cheap but it was worth it. The breakfast selection was huge with pastries, fry up, freshly made omelettes and eggs made to your liking, fruit/cereal/yoghurts all on offer! Everything was fresh and tasty and the service from the waitress...

We visited the Elysium in October, our 3rd time, and we've never regretted it. I don't think it gets better than this. It's the feeling that you're being treated like royalty that really does it for me. One thing though - as I was sitting in the pool, at the bar, sipping my lemon sorbet margarita, I noticed one of...

The hotel is lovely and is being refurbished so will be even better. The rooms are maintained very well by the cleaning staff, who were all cheerful and friendly. The dining room was made extra special by lovely attentive staff. The food was excellent at breakfast and at the buffet dinner. The gardens are well maintained and further staff look...
