We were disappointed with the facilities overall but the staff were very friendly and the hotel was exceptionally clean. The food was geared towards The English palette which was disappointing as we would have preferred to have more regional dishes served. Definitely not a hotel for the young or for families but nevertheless an enjoyable stay.

Short notice trip, for 1 night, got a very good deal. 26% compared to the room rack rate. Very clean, room size seemed slightly larger than average/typical set up. Breakfast was pleasant enough too. Being Cyprus in November we were a bit cold (we're locals!), and the air/con didn't switch into heat mode! They take a photo copy of your...

This was our first visit to Cyprus as I always wanted to visit. I got the Hotel and Package off the internet. My comments are. Hotel very good we had a large upgraded room facing the Sea . The room was excellent but we did not get the sun until 4.15p.m. ( Room 436). Nice lounges but not much in...

Stayed here during Nov. 2011 for 3 nights. Although it is rated 5* it isn't in the same league as other fantastic 5* hotels around the world. It is tired and a bit run-down and in need of a re-furbishment. It has all the facilities - indoor pool, outdoor pool, gym. beach etc. but non of the 'wow' factor. Had...

Stayed at the Venus Beach October 16th - 22nd 2011. Went fully inclusive with Olympic Holidays. Very pleased with the whole deal. Hotel clean & comfortable, room spacey. Side view room with sea view one way main road the other, a little noisy with the patio doors open, but nice to see what’s going on. Room and bathroom cleaned to...

We had a wonderful holiday in Cyprus recently and stayed at the Hotel Venus Beach in Paphos. It is truly a lovely hotel with first class facilities and great staff. We will certainly be returning to this lovely hotel again.

As this was a November booking, we chose the hotel because it advertised an indoor pool and gym, as it was too cold to use the outside pool. We stayed two nights checked in at 2:00pm on Saturday the 5th of Nov and checked out at 12:00 noon at the 7th of Nov on Monday. When we went to use...

While the hotel setting is great, pool excellent and the view from their each night as the sun set was to die for. Unfortunately the food, service and rooms did not match this. We were sold this holiday as being 5 star, it came no where near to this. A good quality 3 star being nearer the score. The room...

Although it would seem the hotel is somewhat over rated due to a number of deficiencies-as quoted by some previous reviewers, I enjoyed my stay despite not being able to take advantage of all the facilities due to a health problem. One main complaint was the size of the indoor [heated] pool and that the main pool was not heated...
