Due to the cancellation of our flight we were allocated a room in the hotel by our flight operator Easy Jet, we had no prior knowledge of our destination. We arrived in the early hours approx. 5am. The room allocated was dated, the general appeal of the hotel was unclean, smelt of mothballs, a bad experience & end to a...

Having decided to return to Cyprus, for a much-needed break, I booked a week's stay at The Marion Hotel; primarily after reading the various 'reviews', a few of which I'm certain, are fictitious...possibly authored by the competition. Because of the diverse spectrum of comments. I wished to experience this hotel first-handed. After all, the various hotel critics clearly rate this...

Very outdated hotel. You get what you pay for I guess. Very very basic rooms. The pool is nice, not at all busy and you can bring food and drinks from elsewhere as the bar isn't open many hours and doesn't offer food anyway. Breakfast very basic but good. The owner at the reception is best avoided, VERY annoying! The...

When I booked the hotel it was for double room, when we arrived the bloke on the desk gave us a room with 3 single beds in a small room, it was very clostrophobic. The following morning told the bloke we had booked a double room and that was what we wanted he then gave us a room a few...

The owner and family went out of their way to help and assist. The accommodation is clean and comfortable with a great swimming pool and bar for lazy days when you don't want to go out. Close by - is the town centre and great eateries with fresh Cypriot ingredients makes Marion Hotel an ideal stop.

Terrible place, I've traveled the world and stayed in hostels and this is the worst place I've ever been. It's dirty, there are hairs from previous tenants or cleaners everywhere. The maids don't change the sheets, just make the bed and empty the bins. The owner Michael charges for everything including €5 a day if you want to use your...

We spent a night at the Marion Hotel earlier this month - on a tour of Cyprus. We had booked the night before. We were made very welcome by the friendly owner, Michael. The room price was extremely reasonable, we were given a large room with a sea view, albeit the sea was quite a way off. The room was...

Arrived in Polis late and looking for a hotel. Found the Marion and was pleasantly surprised at the price of €40 for a good double room with balcony and a lovely view. Enjoyed speaking to the owner and to staff who were more human than at chain hotels. This hotel would be a great base for a complete holiday in...

For the money you pay the hotels great. The rooms are good and the staff are friendly and helpful. We didn't really like our first room they put us in so we asked the staff if we could swap and they had no problems with that and swapped us straight away and our second room was perfect. It is in...
