My husband and I rented out the chateau for 7 days to accomodate our close family and friends during our wedding week. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The Chateau itself, the grounds, the friendliness of the owner...everything was perfection! The restaurant was closed during the week so we supplied our own food aside from the catered...

Attended a wedding early July and couldn't have been more satisfied. The staff were friendly and very accommodating (even gave us a lift to the local B&B when we checked out). They provided everything we could have needed. Although the Chateau rooms were elegant, I stayed in the little "Gite" out the back and was very comfortable. It allowed us...

Must agree other comments. Beautifull well managed wedding venue. Had exclusive use of the chateau and grounds. Reception held in huge barn in grounds. Would have been great in the event of rain. We also had a use of a Gite in the grounds as additional accomodation.

I booked as part of a wedding party - the wedding was happening at a separate venue. Between us we were the only people at the chateaux as we had booked multiple rooms. It is such a shame to write such a negative review as the Chateau really is beautiful - as are the surroundings. We arrived in the early...

All our family attended a wedding here in June 2015, what a truly amazing experience it was. The whole chateau was for only our wedding party, the caterers came and did all the feast for the wedding in the chateau's kitchens. I can barely put into words how romantic and fabulous this venue is, beautiful grounds to wander around, individual...

My brother had his wedding there a few weeks ago. The place was so beautiful, the grounds where superb. The whole weekend was just amazing. The whole place reminded me of Downton Abbey. The bedrooms, sitting rooms, hallways etc, where all stunningly beautiful. It was truly an amazing experience. Thank you

We had our fairytale wedding in this wonderful château last weekend. The house lends itself beautifully to this kind of event and it was simply wonderful to see and hear all our family and friends enjoying themselves against such a stunning backdrop of old and modern luxury. Each room is ensuite, most with four poster beds and stunning stone and...

We have just got married here (27/7/2015) and we can't recommend it enough. Having booked the hotel for 4 nights we were able to see every room and they are all decorated and furnished to an exceptional standard Yes some of the floors a little uneven but that is part of the character of a centuries old building. None of...

“when you go for dinner, make sure you close the windows as your room will be crawling with insects otherwise. What fun we had swatting at our heads to get rid of them. Oh the joys of travel”

“The large suite we had, had a window in the bathroom that was at ground level and when opened, was hazardous for our baby. The staff was very quick to point it out to me and offer the clever solution of placing my suitcase in the space on the windowsill. It was one of the biggest rooms and thus they wanted to give us the space we needed for our kids, but it came with this one danger that they were quick to note and resolve for us. It is also VERY dark at night if there is no moon. In the middle of the country, you literally can't see your hand in front of your face, and it made late night bathroom trips interesting! I imagine this would be the same in any room, maybe bring a little flashlight? I wouldn't change a thing about it though... the stars at night were magnificent!”

“Presidential Suite if you can, but all rooms are of a high standard, with impeccable presentation and cleanliness.”

“We were upgraded to a junior suite - Room 203. The plus side was that the room was big, we had a huge corridor between it and the bathroom and the bathroom was equally big. The view from the small bedroom window was lovely. But: the ceiling was low, the windows were small and the floor was sloping everywhere (the floor bit was charming in many ways but you should know!). On balance, I'd go for a room on the first floor with higher ceilings - or room 201 which looked lovely too and had slightly higher ceilings.”
