We really enjoy amazing view from the second floor room to the lake and surrounding mountains background! Room was so nice and cute. We were very pleased about breakfest and serving coffee/tea by Claudia. very autentic stay in Hallstatt and we are pleased to taste this small town without crowd. Really recomanded for everyone.
This is a very sweet old B&B place in the heart of Hallstatt. We had a sweet room up only one floor, fortunately. Great Lake view from the room. We had a small balcony too. Keep in mind it is old and has old winding wooden stairs to get up and down to your room. We wouldn’t have wanted to be up any higher having to lug our bags up the stairs. Great little breakfast though they did not have decaf coffee even in instant form. Nice location. Nice people. The attached restaurant was excellent but we were only able to eat there for lunch and dinner because they closed one day. Loved being in town overnights when many of the day tourists have left. We rented a boat one day and had a picnic out on the lake. Boat rentals just right down the street.
Incredible accommodation in a 700-year-old charming house, tastefully decorated with old photographs and paintings. Beautiful Lake view!!! Great staff, excellent cuisine, romantic evenings in the garden restaurant. We felt like visiting a family. The only inconvenience is that supply cars drive under the windows from six to eight in the morning, but there's nothing you can do about it.
In a town that is trying to avoid turning into a museum or cutesy resort, the Lobisser family makes you feel like a guest in their home -- the winding staircases, charming home decor, and 700-year-old creaking floor boards help add to the feeling that this is a special place with centuries of character. Any concerns you have about the accommodations melt away the minute that you step onto your balcony to view the mountains and the lake -- and that's really why we came here, so grab a blanket and watch the town wake up before sunrise, see the swans teach their chicks how to swim and fly, and book a table at the restaurant on site. You won't regret staying here. It's worth every cent.
Beautiful B&B, Lake front. Very clean. In the heart of the town. Nice breakfast. I booked a double room, it has a windows look out the lake with beautiful view. There is a nice restaurant right in front of the hotel, next to the water.
