We spent one night here while visiting the Christmas Market in December, and that was enough to make us want to come back again for a longer visit! The hotel is small but it's beautifully decorated and couldn't possibly be in a better location. Breakfast was included and served in an elegant setting. There weren't a lot of breakfast choices,...

My wife and I recently spent five nights at this hotel. The location was perfect. Tucked away on a small street in the heart of the old town we were able to walk everywhere. The staff were extremely helpful in arranging tours for us. The breakfasts were excellent. Our room was large with space to stretch out and feel at...

We recently spent four nights at the Hotel Elefant while visiting Salzburg and the surrounding region. The hotel location is second to none. You can walk almost anywhere in the town of Salzburg in under ten minutes. Our party included my wife and I plus our daughter (her first visit to Austria) so we requested a room large enough for...

Third stay here, best location in the heart of Old Town. Full breakfast included- eggs, bacon, fruit, rolls, cheeses, meats, etc. Nice staff, great rooms, spacious. Will never stay anywhere else! Street cafe seating for the restaurant.

I love this hotel. Everything from booking to sleeping has been great. The staff is very accommodating. The room is beautiful. If you've never been to old Salzburg, you'll be surprised that you have to park and walk a little ways. But the walking is easy and through a tunnel that lets out very close to the hotel. You do...

Great location, quiet, clean, decent sized rooms with a comfortable bed but the pillows not so much. Breakfast was adequate but not as good as some. Amazing that they don't have a toaster! Wifi down the first day but fixed thereafter. You should be happy here.

I can't say enough about this boutique hotel. It was absolutely perfect. Charming, centrally located and clean. Lovely little sidewalk cafe to enjoy a wine or coffee and people watch. Staff were very friendly and professional. A must stay when visiting Salzburg.

Booked two rooms for a city break and as requested, were given a lovely little twin room for our teenage girls, and a room on the same floor for us. View from the rooms was of a pedestrianised street if you look down, and the top of the Cathedral if you look up. Taxi delivered us from the airport to...

Charming, authentic hotel right in the old town. Close to the cathedral, mozart's house, the museums and the castle and ravine overlooking the old town. Very helpful reception staff. Rooms not that big but an expected size for such an old, atmospheric building. Breakfast room and upstairs lounge tasteful and interesting. Mini bar in the room well stocked and unusually...

We had a delightful experience at Hotel Elefant! The quiet, yet central location was in the most charming part of town; shopping, restaurants and museums are just steps away. Better yet, many of the traditional pastry and chocolate shops are within a short radius. While the hotel, rooms and baths have been modernized, much of the old charm remains....wavy glass...
