This hotel is beautiful and has a perfect location in the very centre of Salzburg. The rooms with river view are awesome. The service is perfect. The building is historic and the walls are so wide that it is impossible to open the windows and look down. I guess it used to be some sort of fort once. Wonderful experience

This hotel has a great roof top bar with views of the river and castle. Good prices, nice staff. We didn't stay here but enjoyed drinks and sunset at the bar. We later recommended it to friends and they loved it just as much. Right down town - great place to unwind after a day of sight seeing or for...

While our two night stay was very comfortable this establishment has just passed its sell by date! Rooms are spotlessly clean and a good nights sleep was achieved but the place is really showing its age. Public areas and dimly lit corridors give a feeling of sleeze as furnishings, carpets etc are threadbare and decor very faded. The top floor...

It's a nightmare, dirthy, smelling, unorganized, this is not a 4 stars hotel but maybe a 1 star hotel. You have even to take stairs to get access to the elevetors that will take you to your room. The price of room are insult for what they are offering. Please don't do the breakfast, the personell is uncompetent, slow and unorganized. We had to...

My husband & I stayed here two nights & absolutely LOVED it! Staff were pleasant & helpful. The location was perfect! Just a short walk over the Love Lock Bridge & you meander through the streets of Salzburg. The terrace on top of the hotel was a perfect way to start & end the day.

Despite the mixed reviews on various sources, I decided to take a chance on this hotel. The hotel is obviously old but that just adds more charm to the whole Baroque style going on there. The room I got was good with a view that overlooked the river. The only thing about the room was the creaking floor as it...

Great location, interesting building, but it can do with some new make over. The room was quite large, but not decorated and a bit dull. Also, for a hotel of this price, I do expect some bottles of water, and some toiletries. Breakfast at the rooftop is a treat. Although at te side of the river, we found it very...

It's a pity that the service is so disappointing at this bar, as the view is delightful. On a cool winters night, 0/4 of the outdoor heaters were functioning to full capacity. The wait staff were very rude, and it was even difficult to pay the bill when we were leaving.
