This was our final night in Salzburg and we booked the restaurant for 51 people - when we arrived they only had seating for 45 - they did bring in some additional chairs but it was tight seating. They staff did not seem properly prepared since they had their children bring out the wine - one boy must have been...

The Pension/Hotel is in a nice location and looks reasonably nice from the outside. The rooms, however, are a bit run down and tired. It deserves an upgrade in the amenities. Looks like it is family run with the family living in the facility. The staff on premises (mainly the front desk and the restaurant) are friendly but not enough...

We ate here on a wet evening (as we did not want to walk further). There was only two options on the menu - a pork dish and a chicken disk. Whilst both were very nice, we were disappointed as the menu displayed outside was much more extensive. Two mains, plus 4 drinks came to 31euros.

We checked in quite late but food was still available - till 10. The building is full of great curios, and the international staff were friendly and helpful. We were placed in an apartment across the road due to the guest in our room overstaying. It was great with a balcony and lots of space. Clean and tidy but also...

Quirky building and rooms, beautifully furnished. Had a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was a good self serve affair (orange juice was the only thing that let it down). Good location within easy walking distance of centre of salzburg.

We came across this place by accident. Our room is large, clean and comfortable, #7 I believe. The building is historic and has a nice outdoor patio to relax in. Breakfast and coffee is good, dinner and beer, in the restaurant is fantastic. This place just feels great to me. The family is very nice and accommodating. They even let...

I stayed at Haus Wartenberg with my two children and my adult niece and nephew - all 5 of us stayed in one large, well priced room. Please understand that this is a real gasthaus and not the Holiday Inn. It's got real charm, and the owners are delighted to give you the history. It was a hangout of Mozart's!...

This isn't fancy, but we had a two-room suite (my husband and me and our adult daughter) that had plenty of room and a surprisingly large and modern bathroom. It definitely has a friendly, family feel-- pet rabbit hutches and kids' bikes out front. it was a 10 minute walk to old town (I can't remember if that's what it's...

I was intrigued by photos of hotel inside and out.The roof was the first I have seen with coloured tiles spelling out very large "IHS". The hotel has a very varied history from aristocratic guests to church and other religous orders staying.Monks and priests were staying during my visit as well as a variety of families from around the globe.There...

First, let me say that location and reviews led me to this B&B. I had a rental car, so I tried to find places conducive to the support of my vehicle. I heard good things. The room was nice and comfortable, but 2 things made my stay here one I would want to soon forget. The first was, when I...
