One of the few hotels you can get organic food and drink in Salzburg! The rooms were very clean, the coffee and breakfast delicious. The staff is very helpful and friendly. We could also get there some war,m snack at a every time! We stayed there for the Salzburg Marathon and we will come back for sure!

We were staying in a nearby location, and everyone recommended this place! So, we had to try it, and were VERY pleased. We had the ragout, at the servers recommendation of their house specialties, and LOVED it! Also, had the potato with chanterelle soup, and it was phenomenal! The dessert was an authentic one (we can't remember the name) which... More

Location was great for driving or walking. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were beautiful with a view that was interesting in a lovely way (second floor room). We were there for only one night, but would stay again if we were ever in the area. The only negative was that parking was a bit of a challenge.

I have mixed feelings about writing this review, because I was so very excited about our stay at the Hotel zur Post, this being our first big trip with our 10 month old baby. We decided that it was the right choice for us because it is advertised as a family business and when my husband found what was described... More

We stayed in a very spacious and comfortable two-bedroom room. The hotel is located a little bit outside of downtown Salzburg, but the #1 bus stops right in front. There was not any air-conditioning, but fans were provided in both bedrooms. There are not many restaurants in the area near the hotel.

My wife and I chose this hotel because it had 'barrier free' rooms. We were given a large, warm and comfortable accessible room on the ground floor. The breakfast was good with a wide choice of cold hams, cheeses, fruit, cereals and pastries. The hotel is close to the airport and an easy bus ride to the centre of the... More

We arrived late in the evening and found the hotel by coincidence. At the reception we were Welcomed by a very friendly and knowledgeable young man, who had a room for us and recommended some restaurants nearby to get a bite to eat, which also turned out perfect. The room was very clean, and large. Also the bathroom is larger... More

Chose this hotel after reading positive reviews but felt we must have stayed in a different hotel! Our room was in an annex above a shop. Although large it was shabby with scuff marks along the walls. The bed linen had "yellowed", only one thin pillow was provided and there was even a hole in the duvet cover. The bathroom... More

I like every little detail that represents hotel's green concept. But beyond everything, the room is clean and comfortable while the service is good. The hotel is close to Stiegl Brawelt (Stiegl Brewery) where I enjoyed so much the dinner and nice atmosphere there.

My stay at this lovely hotel was great. The staff are super friendly. Good things. Location is in close proximity to all the sites. You take one bus ride and you are in the middle of the town. There is car parking at the premises. Rooms are spacious and big. Bathroom is big as well. Close to a pizza house... More
