Hotel Motel One Innsbruck receives accolades for its friendly staff and stylish atmosphere, with guests particularly fond of the chic '70s decor and panoramic views from the cocktail lounge. Conveniently located near the train station and city center, it offers easy access to local attractions, although some guests have noted noise disturbances.

Detailed Reviews
This hotel group are usually very consistent in the product they provide and their excellent staff team and this property is no different in meeting those standards. The location is great next to the station and it is within easy walking distance of city centre. In recent times the group have started using dynamic pricing which can make them less competitive and value for money. The cloud bar on the top floor has excellent views and it is also where breakfast is served. If you opt for room on the 4th floor with balcony then please note this is a shared public area so privacy is somewhat compromised by smokers using public area and other people staying in adjacent rooms.

This motel was a nice surprise to me.Big windows from which you see the mountains even from your bed. It was very clean and all the employees were very nice. The breackfast room from 13 floor and the terraces are very nice.

The location was good. Next to bus station and train station. They allowed us to check in 2 hours early, without fuss or extra payment. This is quite rare, I’ve only ever been told that there is an extra charge for early check in however they were happy to give us the room as soon as it became available. The room is clean but basic/small. We booked a king room. As others have mentioned, there are no drinking facilities in the room. No coffee or tea, which is annoying and unusual in my experience. I had to get up and get dressed and go to the supermarket over the road to buy my morning cup of coffee. We popped up to the bar one evening after being out all day and it was quite formal. There is no restaurant and nowhere on site to just grab a coffee or quick snack. We didn’t go for the breakfast due to other reviews. The reception staff were always nice and helpful. I would stay here again. View from room of train station and mountains was lovely.

This modern, purpose-built hotel is convenient for the railstation being next to the station. I didn't notice any railway noise from my second floor room. My queen room was a bit compact but was fine for one night, I'd want more space for a 3+ night stay. The modern style rooms have all you could need, desk, hangers for clothes, room safe, key card access. Bed was fine, bathroom was small but sufficient. The shower temperature seemed to vary if you changed the flow rate. Like many other hotels the shower water tended to escape the shower and spray a little over the bathroom floor.
The best thing about the hotel is the view from breakfast on the top (13th) floor. On a clear, blue sky day it's awesome as you can see the mountains that surround Innsbruck - a major plus point over nearby Ibis. There's a small outside terrace too. This floor is the bar at night, open to the public.
I experienced a nice warm welcome, staff are friendly and helpful.

I had a great two day stay at this central hotel. I was on a ski trip with a friend and, due to a decision to extend our trip, we had to change accommodation. We chose Motel One due to its proximity to the train station and to central Innsbruck (the old town, etc). The room and bathroom were a little small but very clean and comfortable - and the bathroom included a good quality hairdryer. We didn't opt for breakfast (bed only) but purchased coffee from the breakfast area each morning: again, that was a very clean area and the coffee was tasty.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for short stays in Innsbruck due to location; value for money; cleanliness; and comfort.

Very good value for money, very good hotel. The hotel is located in the city center. Although the room is not large, it has an excellent view of Innsbruck's mountains. The hotel staff gave me a tail room, which gave me a 180-degree panoramic view, which was very beautiful. The only important thing is that the hotel room does not have a phone. The hotel restaurant is located on the 13th floor. It also has unparalleled and magnificent mountain views. You can enjoy the view of the Alps while dining. In addition, the restaurant also has outdoor seats, so you can go out and experience nature. There are not many types of breakfast in the hotel. Although the price is not proportional to the food type, I personally think that being able to enjoy the scenery is completely worth the price. I will definitely come to this hotel again next time.

Stayed for one night at Motel One Innsbruck. The smart rooms as they call, is extremely small. Maybe its good for solo stays. For a couple with luggage, its quite tough to stay though we managed since it was just a night. The room was extremely hot and stuffy when we arrived, they have tiny window openings which can be opened but initially I found it extremely stuffy and claustrophobic. The bathroom shower was broken, and hence the water flow was quite restricted. These small things should be noticed before assigning a check in.
In the evening with the chill weather it got better.
Its located close to station and walkable to the main city center.
Its ok for a night but very expensive for that kind of a room.

Great hotel, we were here for work with a client in a wheelchair. The barrier-free room was very spacious. The bathroom was also great because the glass walls fold up against the wall. Only the height of the sink was a little too low. The decoration in the hotel is beautiful and very harmonious. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back. Thank you

Mixed feelings on our 2 night stay at this hotel - would ideally give it 3.5 out of 5.
On one hand the common areas are undeniably stylish and the views of the surrounding mountains are great, the beds comfy and decent shower. However the limited breakfast selection (soft boiled eggs being the only hot option), no mini fridge or glasses (only cardboard cups) in our (small) bedroom gave the impression of being in a budget hotel despite the price we paid not reflecting that!

After my extremely positive experiences in Vienna and Frankfurt, I was very disappointed with the Motel One in Innsbruck. The positives are easy to say: in addition to the well-known, very beautiful design, Innsbruck scores points with its "sky lobby" on the 13th floor with a wonderful view. The well-known organic breakfast is also served here. There are fast elevators and there are enough of them even in rush hour.
When I arrived at around 7:30 p.m. in the evening, I found the entrance area not very inviting. The outside lighting is very dim, which is exacerbated by the unlit bicycle parking area next to it at the main station. The large group of smokers that I had to walk through was also very unpleasant because it smelled like a smoking bar. The employee at the reception in the evening was friendly. My room was extremely small and seemed very poorly decorated. Of course, the bed linen and towels were clean, but there was still cellophane on the floor and the two in-house publications, which you usually like to take home as a souvenir, were completely worn and bent. The bathroom is also tiny. I was very bothered by the bathroom door, which you couldn't leave open without putting a bag or something similar in front of it. It was impossible to pull back the blackout curtains the next morning because the sun was extremely glaring, as there was no sun protection under the curtains, and the window panes were completely dirty.
My conclusion: Even if you can't change the size of the rooms and bathrooms, I would like to see the other points of criticism addressed.
