A nice place three tram stops away from the nearest metro station (a trip to the city centre will take you half an hour). Clean, nice, warm - everything needed for a person who wants to see Vienna and needs hotel only to sleep there.
We've stayed in this hotel with my girlfriend for two nights, a great hotel and good location.

The location of the hotel is very good, around 40 minute walk to the Centre of Vienna and a direct tram ride in 15-20 minutes. Parking is available via underground car park and is quite tight especially in a big car! However mind is eased...More

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in a triple room. I think it is a decent hotel for the price we paid, but I was expecting a bit more from a 4* hotel.

The production site of popular Ottakringer beer brews up an exciting mix of working and middle class suburbs, Balkanese immigrant lifestyles, and lush patches of hilly woodland. The recently gentrified area around Yppenplatz and Brunnenmarkt boasts hip cafés and bars next to South East European delicacies at Brunnenmarkt street market. The dynamics of Ottakring become most apparent at its vibrant high
street Ottakringer Strasse. At the top end you can feast on wine and local food in Austria’s oldest wine tavern 10er Marie. The wines are from the tavern’s own urban vineyards. Before you head upwards, make sure you pay a visit to the historic courtyards between Lerchenfelder Gürtel and Hippgasse. When locals visit Ottakring’s hilly green outskirts on the weekends they either climb up 31 meters of Jubiläumswarte viewing tower on Gallitzinberg, have a succulent Wiener Schnitzel at Villa Aurora, or reward their hiking exertions around Wilhelminenberg with a drink and a view from Wilhelminenberg Palace (now a hotel and restaurant).

I traveled with my car. But once I was in the hotel I let my car in the hotel garage and I used tram. The tram station in very close to the hotel, aprox 1-2 min. I used to take the tram 43 to Schotenttor Station which is a main tram station, I am sure from Schotenttor you can take tram or subway to main train station Haubtbahnhoff. Please see on the internet the tram map in Vienna
