Rooms in Vienna don't come cheap. The Admiral suited our budget. It is a very nice hotel, is walking distance to the city centre, near friendly taverns, a shopping street, and even a gelato cafe, and if you cycle, there's a CityBike station 10 minutes walk away. Staff are friendly. In particular, Christina let us leave a few pieces of...

Spent 3 nights here and was OK. Located in the center, very close to tram and metro stations. Room was large, clean and warm. Bathroom has tube and shower cabin. Breakfast is good (except the coffee), but not very diversified. Nice and polite staff.

Staff are so friendly, and the location of this Hotel is amazing as you can walk to the center of the city within a couple of minutes. The Breakfast was nice, but limited! The room was nice and clean, but hot!!

My husband and I recently spent 2 nights at the Hotel Admiral. The location is perfect and for the price paid it was a steal. As you can see from the pictures it is pretty bare bones and no frills but it was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is included and it was okay for 2 days but...

Nice-ish hotel, very reasonable and absolutely fantastic location for getting out and about to devour some of that culture Vienna is so famous for. Woman on the desk was very patient and taught me lots of useful German. Breakfast good, some interesting choices, I was served spaghetti for breakfast here a while back and it was actually rather nice.

We stayed there at the last days of our tour and it was also the worst. But the worst of all was the staff made us go down from the stairs with our full heavy luggages because they were cleaning the rooms!! There were ladies among us who were older than 70 years and they didn't have the strength to...

Very nice hotel in the very heart of Vienna. Very close both to the museums and main attractions of the city and to the shopping area. Several metro stations are very close. Friendly and helpful personnel. Warm and clean rooms.

The hotel was old but clean, small but nice, and perfectly located. For the price paid, I was totally satisfied, but my friends were looking for some more amount of luxury. Breakfast buffet was not giving lots of choice, but come on! The price was cheap dude! Reception was not the most friendly, and finding a parking slot was not...

We have stayed here for 2 non-consecutive nights last week. On both occasions the room was very clean, wi-fi was working well, while breakfast was poor. Location is very good. Dog-friendly. First night was on Tuesday. We arrived, parked, checked-in with a very kind man from front desk, got a room facing the inner court that was clean and quiet....

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
