Great location in the centre of Vienna, part of a monastery. Rooms are basic but functional and very clean, also very quiet (overlooking a courtyard)...until 7am matins bells start ringing! Breakfast is more than adequate and they cater for special diets. Staff are friendly and...More
This was an excellent choice. Excellent location, excellent breakfast (with soy milk as well as cow's milk), clean and comfortable room, very helpful staff who speak fluent English as well as German and can guide travellers regarding transport, meals, shops and attractions.
This is a small Hotel inside a monastery. It is a very clean, calm and well located hotel. There is no TV in the room, but that wasn't a problem for us since the internet worked well. Vienna is an expensive city and the hotel...More
Part of a monastery, Benediktushaus is a small, very clean and well sited hotel. It should be noted that amenities are limited. There is no TV, phone or A/C but this is offset by a very reasonable rate. The hotel offers a very nice breakfast...More
I found the guest-house very quiet and tranquil. You can even hear the sounds of the bells ringing from the adjacent church clearly. Yet, once I stepped outside the building, I could find all the city attractions very easily. The room was clean & breakfast...More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Dear guest, I hope you will accept my answer, too. All rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor, which are exposed to the sun, are equipped with a fan. The rooms on the 1st and second floor get more shadow from the trees. There are large windows in the rooms providing good air circulation. At the moment, it ist rather cool weather outside. Until now, wenn have always found a solution to make the stay of our guests as pleasant as possible also during hot summer weather.
Kind regards, Michaela
