Excellent value in a great location. We will definitely go there again if we are back in Vienna. Only reason that I have given it 4 stars not 5 is that we were there during a hot week and there isn't air conditioning, though they...More
We were looking for an affordable option for our 3 night visit to Vienna, and came across the Benediktushaus Guest House. Located in the historic Scottish Abbey, you find yourself surrounded by calm and quiet. The entrance is unassuming, so you might miss it, but...More

Looked at this place because a Tripadvisor reviewer said it was all you needed and the best priced place to stay. They were right. It's within easy walking distance of the train station and the centre of the city. Free wi-fi, tea/coffee making facilities and...More
Had a great time visiting Vienna. This is my 10th or so time here. The staff is really friendly and helpful. This is an unbelievable location for a bargain price. It fills up quick so plan weeks in advance for the reservation.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Dear guest, I hope you will accept my answer, too. All rooms on the 3rd and 4th floor, which are exposed to the sun, are equipped with a fan. The rooms on the 1st and second floor get more shadow from the trees. There are large windows in the rooms providing good air circulation. At the moment, it ist rather cool weather outside. Until now, wenn have always found a solution to make the stay of our guests as pleasant as possible also during hot summer weather.
Kind regards, Michaela
