Excellent hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Magnificent interior and the decor in the rooms is fabulous. Only item preventing five stars was no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, but otherwise one to return to.

it's one of the best hotel in my traveling. it was a palace ~ calssical and elegant. I stayed two nights in Hotel Imperial. I like the Palace Design - oil paining, crystal lamp, even waiter's dress. The locaiton of the hotel is very good, only two mins by walk to the Vienna Golden Hall, around 10 mins to Kern...

The Hotel Imperial is located in the inner square of Vienna and is one of the oldest hotels in the area. It has an amazing history and has seen it's share of historical figures stay within it's walls. It is a high end hotel with beautiful rooms, gorgeous sitting areas and excellent service. If you are looking for luxury with...

Ideally situated. Lovely comfortable hotel. Superbly clean. All staff extremely helpful, professional and polite. Beautiful suite with balcony on front of hotel, nice comfy bed. Could have more choice on daily menu, however, Buffett breakfast was very good and had lots to choice from! Food always fresh. The opus restaurant which has a mitchellin star was disappointingly closed for holidays,...

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for 4 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. To say we were delighted is an understatement, from our initial check in to the moment we left everything was perfect. The location of the hotel is excellent, our room was amazing and the staff are the best we have ever encountered. Particular mention must go...

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel during November. This is our first time in Vienna and I loved it every moment here. We would not stay anywhere else in Vienna. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and hotel sent us a gift to our room. That was a very pleasant surprise after we come back from the city tour....

If you are in town for Schoenbrunn , the Sissy apartments and the Opera House, by all means continue the illusion of the nineteenth century and stay at the Imperial. The CAT from VIE in 16 minutes drops you off at Landstrasse station and UBahn 4 takes you to the Karlsplatz/Oper. A quick two block walk brings you to the...

We stayed for two nights in a regular king room. I was worried that not booking a suite would make for a different experience than most reviews write about. We had no view but we knew that could happen with the rate we booked. It was still a reasonably large room with beautiful antiques and an extremely comfortable bed with...

If this is your first time in Vienna here is no other place to stay. Forget your budget! You will not regret it. Besides the beauty and history of this place the staff was among the best I have ever met. For a world class five star property the staff is extremely welcoming and unpretentious. They make everyone feel important...

I had wonderfull time in Vienna. I stayed here with my grandparents in one of the Grand suites. It was phenomenal. The staff was kind and helpful. The evening after opera when we had couple drinks and refreshments in 1873 – HalleNsalon bar was the top moment. Thank you and see you soon, because when you experienced it once you...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
