i was sort of afraid of staying alone as a girl in a mixed dorm but everything was okay. the safety is on point, the staff is nice and the rooms are very clean. moreover, the general atmosphere is super nice and welcoming. i suggest you bring some sort of a document other than your id to leave at the...

This was the first Wombats hostel that I have stayed in during my travels through Europe. I visited this hostel back in February 2016. The location was great as it was walking distance to all the attractions. The beds where comfortable and clean and the rooms had an en-suite which is always a nice touch. Staff where always friendly and...

Wombats Naschmarkt is wonderfully located within walking distance to the city center and other tourist attractions (Belvedere, Schönbrunn, Vienna Operahouse etc - if you don't mind walking). The staff was okey but overall was the whole atmosphere wonderful and cool. The breakfast buffet was also great and really worth the price (4,5€)! Rooms were fresh and clean. Kitchen was also...

Spacious rooms, good free wifi, a great chill out area and a bar for a few drinks. This place had the lot. Great systems. The breakfast at 4.50 euros was more than reasonable and the pizzas at night for 6 go alright too. Really handy to a train station and right across the road from the markets which are nice...

This really is a beautiful hostel - with loads of floors and facilities just like a hotel! We stayed in a 6 bed female dorm which was impeccably clean and the locker and door system into the rooms is so clever, made us feel very safe. The bar was good- reduced cocktails in the evening for 'happy hour' however it...

We stayed here for 2 nights and it wasn't enough. The staff were polite and friendly, though the queue to check in was very long and the check-in process took a bit too much time. The staff apologised for the wait even though we did not complain. The sheets obtainable from the lobby are fresh and clean, and towels are...

Location is very good, two metro stops from the centre or a 20 minute walk. The staff were very friendly, and they give you a free drink voucher for they're fun bar. Kitchen was big and well equipped, sadly no free breakfast though. Rooms were nice and very clean. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. We chose not to include the breakfast in the room rate as not everyone wants to have breakfast and it seemed unfair to make those People pay anyway. But great to hear that you enjoyed your stay! All the best, Boris

A really lively place and a great place to meet people. Seriously, even if you think you're not that sociable, this place will prove the opposite. I'd say this social component of the hostel is what I'd come back for. The location is good, although Vienna is big and you will still have to use public transportation to get to...

The only problem I had with this place was that we only stayed 1 night. The staff were super friendly, we got a free drinks voucher on arrival and the bar was great fun at night. It was really clean and better than many hotels I stayed in around Europe. The kitchen was also very good and the market across...

A friend and I did Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna. We both like to travel and we both have been in many hostels in different countries and continents. Booking a hostel for me is a function of cost-location-reviews. I made some research before booking hostels in this trip. This hostel maximized my functions and here are the results. 1) Comparing to...

Staying in Wieden
