We picked this hotel as it was so central & just what we wanted - the perfect spot for walking around the centre of Vienna and also close to the public transport. The hotel was very clean & staff very friendly, all spoke good English which was helpful! There are lifts to all the floors which was handy as we...

The greatest plus of this hotel is its location. On arrival we parked our car in the garage below the Opera and had to walk only 1 minute to get to the hotel entrance. The hotel offers 24 h parking rate of €24. You can reach all the important sites and shops on foot, but you can also use the...

Rooms pretty large, but lack real air conditioning and it can get quite warm here even in Spring. Very friendly staff; breakfast was fine but quite expensive (€17). Rather an old-fashioned hotel, with 'quaint' elevators, but that adds to the charm, in my view. A plus point was that the WLAN worked flawlessly and didn't route through some proxy browser,...

We spent 4 days in this hotel in April. The room was big and well equipped. Salty and sweet breakfast with a good choice. Personnel is very nice. We had a problem with the reservations but they contacted the tour operator solving the question. The location is very good: by feet you can reach the most important things to see...

First time visitor. I was very pleased with the spacious room and modern bathroom. Very clean. Staff friendliness was just as strong on day 1 as it was on day 6. That is very unique. I don't ever name employees but the Bell Captain - Demir is a gem and the heart and soul of this hotel. He made us...

We stayed here two nights. The location was perfect! In the middle of the city, near shops, the opera house and musea. The room was a bit small but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Friendly staff also. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is right in the center of Vienna, it's a 3 minute walk to the opera house and a 5 minute walk to Stephanplatz (city center). The hotel is old but has been renovated, the rooms are quite spacious, it is very clean. The weather was a bit cold when we visited yet the room was warm, not sure...

Well I saw the rating and didn't expect much so was very pleasantly surprised by the rooms , location, and breakfast. This hotel is super central located. The staff is very nice. Bathrooms for an older hotel were great. Breakfast was good. So if you are in the central zone you might expect noise or disturbance. Not at all. Heavy...

This is a truly lovely hotel in the classic Viennese style situated right at the heart of the old city with the cathedral and main museums within walking distance as well as great cafes, bars and restaurants. I stayed for four nights with my (adult) son and we could not have made a better choice for our visit to this...

Very nice hotel with friendly knowledgeable staff. Situated close to the opera house access to busses, trains and the main shopping district. The hotel is full of old world charm with high ceilings, hardwood floors, clean marble bathrooms. It can be a bit noisy with the shopping restaurant and casino outside but book a higher floor. The breakfast is excellent...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
