HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 16 March 2017 via mobile

I normally always prebook a hotel. I found this hotel online one morning and it was near where I was. Instead of booking it online, I just turned up. They gave me the hotel room at the online price and I was checked-in within half hour. The staff where all really nice and couldn't be more helpful. They pointed me...

Fine for short stay, rooms quality may vary. Good location especially if you like to visit Prater amusement park but going to city must go by underground. Reception and cleaning need improvement. One man worker at the reception was arrogant and tired but other workers Ok.

Location is 5 min walk from praterstern u- bahn but 14 min from Reed conference centre. Easier to take subway from praterstern to Wien messe station when going for conference. Praterstern subway has Billa supermarket and 2 cafe, Ginza sushi and steamboat. That is about the only reasons to stay here, easy access to breakfast which is not provided and...

The staff is very helpful and always there to give directions and offer suggestions. The hotel is close to the Congress center and a short walk away, plus you can jump on the Metro and be downtown in 2 stops, very helpful and close to the center of the city. Clean rooms, helpful people, even a nice restaurant, but beware...that...

Very closed to the Vienna Messe (10 minutes walking), basic but clean and comfy room (notice that there isn't much "toiletry" provided by the hotel, so bring your own shampoos and things like these), very rich and yummy breakfast. There's a Restaurant in the hotel open until 10:30 pm.

The highlight is definitely the location, considering a city such as Vienna. It's not at a walking distance from the centre, but there are two metro stops (including two different lines) and a train stop that takes you and brings you directly from the airport, which is quite practical. Also the quality/price relation was really good. Breakfast is quite expensive...

I have stayed many times in this Ibis hotel since it was opened nearly twenty years ago. I prefer the quiet location and good connections on metro line #1 to both directions as well as nearby railway staion Praterstern. Standard Ibis quality.

From the first moment when they've cancelled our bookings because of some misunderstanding in the booking department, we should have looked for a different hotel. Left the hotel when they entered our room because our dog was scared and had made some noise. Then have accused us of treating our dogs like filth and started screaming at us at the...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
