Very clean, very modern. Spacious room. Good disabled access at reception and whole hotel. Easy access to gym and health suite. Breakfast expensive but that is Austria all over. Gluten free and dairy free stuff available on request. Cute little steps with a teddy dressed as staff member at reception. We enjoyed our stay. Easy access to underground station. Their...

The location is excellent. Being just beside the Danube River, my room had a great view (you need to pay extra for waterfront rooms). It is also easily accessible, with Stadion Metro a short walk away and a grocery (Penny's) along the way. There is also the Stadion Mall beside the station where you can buy groceries or eat. The...

Excellent hotel, with friendly staff and a lovely view of the Danube. Exceptionally quiet rooms made us feel like we had the place to ourselves. Staff where always friendly and happy to help. Restaurant is excellent and the buffet breakfast was equally tasty. In short a great place to stay when visiting Vienna.

I really liked the location of this hotel. It takes just 7 minutes to get to the city centre by underground. Also, the "Stadion" Underground Station is near to the hotel. Good service. Good food. Perfect view on Danube river.

This modern hotel is on the banks of the Danube just off the road from the airport to the city centre. It's a few km out of the central area, but within easy walking distance of the U-Bahn (metro), which will get you to Karlsplatz in about 20'. Rooms overlooking the river go for a higher price than those facing...

My husband and I stayed here mid December and really enjoyed it. The rooms were good, they were clean and the beds were comfortable. Even though it is a little out of the city, it is a very short walk to the train station and there is a supermarket a couple of minutes walk for the hotel. The restaurant was...

Stayed here during our European travels with my husband. I was very impressed with how modern the hotel was. Very friendly staff who all spoke English (as well as several other languages). The room had great amenities like wi-fi, amazing city views, mini bar and plenty of outlets. The hotel featured convenient parking, a great bar and a wonderful restaurant...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
