Free water, cake, fruit and ice cream in the lobby! Guide and art books in the lounge area. Good breakfast, including freshly made omelette, either ham or cheese and tomato; or fried egg and bacon or scrambled egg, which was scrambled, a rarity in Austria - we found it was generally like a pancake elsewhere. I was able to have...

Delightful hotel . Comfortable and clean. Superb breakfast. Helpful receptionists. So much nicer than the "Big Chain Hotels". Cold water and coffee always available in the Lobby and free icecreams !!! In a car-less quiet street and very central to EVERYWHERE.

You can't beat the location for exploring Vienna. Very nice room and bathroom everything you would expect for the price. Breakfast was a little disappointing if you are British and expecting a cooked breakfast and a good cup of tea but on the up side you can have cake!

"Location, location, location!" This hotel has it. On a quiet "walk street," right in the middle of everything that a tourist would want to see in Vienna, it's got charm, calm and comfort. While not a luxury hotel, like the Hotel Sacher or Sans Souci, it is most comfortable and warm. Our Deluxe room was nicely furnished, in an "Old...

We stayed for two nights in this hotel to explore Vienna. The location of this hotel is excellent for this purpose, for example on short walking distance to the state opera, the St. Stephen's cathedral and museums like Albertina. Hop-on bus just 5 minutes walk. In the hotel you feel like an empress, the rooms are in rococo style with...

If you like bed and breakfasts, but you also want to stay in a nice hotel, give this place a try. It's an old building (1684) that feels like an old house. It is regal and comfortable and in a fantastic location -- just steps down a side street from everything going on in the city center. Quiet, serene and...

This hotel is most unusual. It is a small bed and breakfast just off the Main Street. It is entirely unique in its interior. We had a suite which was spacious and adequate with individual styling . The bathroom was special being tiled in pink and white flor and wall tiles.s There is an abundance of gold fittings. Breakfast is...

The Hotel is with a different hotel group from our previous stay, but many of the faces were the same. The bedrooms are lovely, in keeping with the "Schloss" it occupies, and the Versace bathrooms are also excellent. SRK is in the pedestrian area of Vienna, and it is very easy walking to Stephansplatz, and the central shopping areas. The...

We had a lovely, spacious junior suite at this excellent boutique hotel. The location can't be beat, near the Opera, the museums and the Hofburg complex. Located on Annagasse, a quiet pedestrian street with some good restaurants, but hard for taxis to find: it must enter on the back entrance of the hotel on Krugerstrasse. By the way, the taxi...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
