From check-in to check-out the staff were outstanding. Special request like water kettle, iron/ironing board were provided. I was there for Mother's Day and the breakfast crew gave each women a red rose. What a happy surprise. Location is perfect. About 3 minutes walk from the Airport Bus stop at Morinplatz. No need to take a taxi to/from airport. Schwedenplatz...

Ideal location. The underground and hop on and off buses stops just by the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. The hotel was very clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb not forgetting the afternoon coffee and cakes! What more can I say! Would definitely stay at Hotel Capricorno again.

This is a small hotel of 44 rooms. The building that houses this hotel is several floors high, but the hotel only takes the first three levels. What makes this hotel excellent is a really convenient location to the "inner statd" of Vienna. It is only a 5 to 10 minute easy walk to Saint Stephen's Cathedral from the hotel....

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. It is centrally located and we were able to walk to all the sights we were interested in except for the schoenbrunn castle. That was accessible by their underground system which had a stop right outside the hotel. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of variety. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the...

Claudia, the manager was very helpful during our stay. She helped us both while we were in the city and arranged train tickets to our next destination. The hotel is clean, quiet and uniquely situated so as to make exploring the city very easy. Breakfast was also above average. The room had a spacious bathroom and a surprisingly comfortable mattress....

Nice and small hotel close to the center of Wien. Clean and comfortable. Underground in the square and other public transportation. Good breakfast. The room was small but confortable, the toilette a little too much small.

Well located, very clean, very welcoming staff. We had a great stay and we will definitely recommend it. The hotel is very close to the city center, and also to a Uban station. We walked by foot most of the time to get to all the major attractions.

Hotel Capricorno is a great base from which to explore Vienna with great views of the canal. St. Stephen's is right around the corner and there is an endless choice of nice restaurants, bars, and shops in the area. Staff was prompt and helpful. Ladies working the breakfast were amazing and sweet. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for four nights a few days ago. The hotel was easy to find with access from the main railway station by underground within a few yards of the hotel. Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

As cheerful and colorful as life itself, the Hotel Capricorno appeals to everyone who wishes to experience vibrant Vienna in the heart of the city. In the form of selected motives on wallpaper, Vienna's landmarks accompany guests all the way to their hotel room, so guests have the feeling of being in the middle of Vienna even when they are in the hotel. The 42 rooms, many of them with balcony, designed in many strong colors, are all air-conditioned and offer a tablet with information and WLAN - in addition to the free WLAN throughout the hotel and Sky programs on flat-screen TVs. Its central location directly at Schwedenplatz makes it possible to reach everything quickly. You can walk to St. Stephan's Cathedral in just five minutes. The underground and trams, as well as the landing stage of the Twin City Liner are right outside the door. Cars can be parked securely in the garage. The Capricorno is one of five Schick Hotels Vienna 'Over a century of Viennese Charm', and there is nowhere better to experience Vienna LIVE than here. ... more   less
