The hotel is located sort of at the edge of the busier area which makes the street quieter and yet everything is close by. We found many points of interest, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. There is a bus stop in front and a grocery store - SPAR nearby. The staff was very helpful in helping us with the info we needed, booking our cab. The room was always cleaned well. We asked for a mini fridge to keep our own food. There is no microwave. I wish the rooms had some more chairs or a thin sofa to sit on.
This is a FIRST CLASS HOTEL. They have a front concierge person, who is able to help you with your luggage. Very clean and excellent looking hotel. Full size Marriott with multiple front dest attendants. All spoke English and other languages. They were very helpful with questions about the area. We had a room with a front view from the hotel. It was a business area. The room was very clean. We were on the fifth floor so. Noise was not a issue. We got our food from the train station so we did not order anything from the hotel. We wanted to do some site seeing but we got there just as it was getting dark. So we just enjoyed the view and left at 0900 the next morning. Usually I walk the area, but I couldn’t this time.
Our 4-day-trip to Vienna was a romantic escape for our 30th wedding anniversary. We chose Vienna Marriott hotel and did not regretted it! It is a 10 minute walk to every spot in town and it is a really 5* experience. A welcome gift along with a warm card with wishes from the manager was already in our room! Martin at the reception desk welcomed us and helped us with dinner, drinks and concert suggestions, while Magdalena at concierge was really a gem and she was always helpful with our bookings! Generally, all of the staff was more than kind and always there for us. The only thing that was disappointing was the spa experience… The pool was ok, but we could not book a massage (they were already sold out, during our entire stay) and never given an alternative, such as a notice if there were any cancellation. The sauna and steam rooms were too small and always packed and there were no space for the bathrobes and towels… we had to put them on the floor! The overall experience was nevertheless fine, after all we were celebrating our pearl anniversary!…
It's not just a place to stay, it's a place to live, one of the very best hotels I've ever been residing, an extremely comfortable stay, everything has been handled in a professional and concerned manner, even prior arrival, their Marriott BonVoy Live chat response rate was extremely rapid, the check-in procedure smooth, and quick, their rooms have been superb, breakfast and lounge access as expected, however their lounge timings rather short, they're supposed to be 24 hours a day, not just for a couple of hours in the evening. Facilities and grounds exceeding Marriott expectations. Overall great stay, will definitely return.
A very comfortable, friendly hotel in Wien which we always look forward to returning to. Highly recommended for business travellers as is the pool and gym. Anytime we visit the staff are super professional and courteous. I can't really think of any negatives!!
Beautiful hotel and awesome location! Tour bus stops right in front! Short walk to all the shopping . We will go back to this hotel! Friendly food available and was good. Sports bar on main floor which was great too!
The front desk was very friendly, I was not welcomed nor recognized as a Marriott Ambassador level, but I don't mind. The hotel is no nonsense, clean, everything worked, we had a suite (#524), extremely comfortable, a home away from home. The staff overall was fantastic, especially the executive lounge and the breakfast staff. We thought the staff at the Garden restaurant were a bit curt, but again nothing to complain about. Excellent location, walking distance of many of the great sights of Vienna !
One of my favourite Marriott Hotels!! Check in: Super friendly and welcoming! It was also quick, which was appreciated after a long flight. Room service: Quick and delicious. Also, a very convenient order system via QR code. Friendly staff. Breakfast: Amazing variety and, again, friendly staff. Room: Clean and perfect temperature. Sounds silly, but thank you for having a toilet brush. So many hotels lack this. Incredible mini bar with something for everyone. Comfortable bed and pillows and probably the only hotel where bedding isn't tucked in tightly, so you don't have to fight with the bedding! Super! Hotel interior: Beautiful design. Please see photo. Garten Cafe: Not so friendly staff and the gentleman in suit kept getting the order wrong. Wasn't focused at all. Also slow service.…
We had two rooms for a week; it took multiple calls to secure two adjoining rooms, but we managed it. Use the chat feature! This hotel is in a beautiful location, close to town center, close to public transport. Close to everything! The breakfast was wonderful but it gets very busy after 8; However, being as expensive as it was in Early December, we thought it could have done better. It had some great perks, but we just didn’t realize we had to constantly ask; For example: They have kid robes and slippers. Super useful for pool! But u have to ask. You can ask for a fridge- they will bring u a small fridge ( in addition to the fridge already in room that is loaded w drinks that you pay for as soon as you remove one). You can get room service from all the restaurants in the hotel (but u have to ask). You can get great memory foam pillows, but you have to ask. Breakfast buffet includes amazing coffee drinks and not just basic coffee, but you have to ask; I’m sure there are lots more things! I saw people checking in getting champagne, but maybe you have to ask… That was the general theme of this hotel. I recommend, but just don’t be shy!…
This hotel is in a great location, 10 minute walk to the centre of town but far enough out that you won't get bothered by the crowds or noise. The staff of the hotel are approachable and friendly and nothing is to much trouble. A special mention goes to all the concierges that helped us to try and track our lost luggage, (unfortunately to no avail), but they kept us updated with the little info that Austrian Airlines released. Top tip if you find you have no other alternative than to fly with them do not check in any baggage, keep a tight hold of it, of you will neve see it again.
