Beautiful spacious apartment with a nice simple and modern decoration. It is well located (right next to the train station and 3 minutes from Tram D which goes directly to the center of Vienna), very clean and well equipped (small kitchen but with the essentials). Very nice swimming pool and sauna
We had a great time in this hotel. It has everything you can wish for. The sauna and pool were great for relaxing after a day of visiting the city. Good beds, very nice staff and very good breakfast. It's very close to the train station too.
Beautiful Adina hotel! Excellent hotel, great location, brand new facility, clean, spacious rooms with washer/dryer, and a welcoming staff! Short walk/metro to local hot spots and sights. Thanks. Will be back!
We chose this hotel for many reasons. First of all we like to stay near train stations so we don't have to lug our stuff all over the place in a crowded city. This is very easy to get to from the Vienna Hbf and we felt very safe here. Second the description of the room really caught our eye. There is a washing machine/dryer combination in the room. Given this was toward the end of our trip, this was a super bonus. While finding a laundromat is generally not hard to do in any city, it is so much nicer just being able to do your laundry in your room. The volume it can do is not very much so we did have to do multiple loads but really did not care. The were was detergent provided in the room but we had brought our own knowing we were going to do laundry. The instructions were a bit difficult in the beginning but were easily solved. The room was large as was the bathroom. Room was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Wifi was free, rapid and reliable. We were able to watch Netflix and Disney on the TV. You can only watch so much CNN and BBC. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel. Staff was friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. Oh, by the way there is a small kitchen in the room with dishes which saved some money. Breakfast was expensive so we just picked up food in the evening for breakfast in the AM. Enjoy.…
We stayed at Adina for 3 nights for a long weekend Mid-October. The hotel is located right near the main central train station (Hauptbahnhof), so is ideal for getting to from the airport, the train is very cheap at only €9 for two adults, and takes 15 minutes. DO NOT take the CAT train, it’s overpriced and doesn’t even arrive at the central station. There is a tram station also right next to the hotel (Hauptbahnhof Ost) so you are direct into the centre of the city in about 5-10 minutes at most. We arrived on an early flight, and thankfully they had a room available for us to check in early and freshen up after the journey. As it was early they only had an accessible room available, this was fine but there was no shower screen or curtain, so the whole bathroom floor tended to get quite wet. Not a major issue though other than it could get a little slippery. Could do with at least a curtain there to keep it in the general shower area. The room was lovely, and really well appointed. The bed was firm but comfortable, expect your standard Austrian style double with separate single duvets. What was disappointing though was the air conditioning, it’s woefully inadequate. I was told by the front desk that this is due to the building being new and having to meet certain regulations, and therefore can’t be ice cold, 21°C is the minimum. I’m not 100% sure this is true, as a previous reviewer said they had been told they actually turned the air conditioning system off in September, this sounds more feasible to me as it did literally nothing. It was pretty mild for this time of year, and the room was too warm, the windows did nothing to help cool the room either unfortunately. I wouldn’t want to stay here in the height of summer if this is the extent of the Air Con performance. Other than that though, it really was lovely and it didn’t detract too much from our stay. The breakfast selection was good and very tasty, with a mixture of hot and cold, savoury or sweet options. The bar is also reasonably priced for evening drinks. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. All in all a pleasant stay at Adina, and an excellent location for transport links, being close to some major attractions (I highly recommend the Military History Museum nearby, it’s amazing value and tends to be nice and quiet, I will do a separate review for this). We also visited the Belvedere Palace which is a short walk, that was also very good. As the title suggests, it’s a great hotel to use as a base for exploring, especially if you don’t want the prices or hustle and bustle of the city centre.…
Adina Apartment Hotel is located in the vicinity of Wien HBF—amazing for travelers who are visiting Vienna and need to catch an early train the next morning. The hotel is also walking distance from the Belvedere Palace—a location you must visit! Unfortunately, this hotel is so popular that it always get fully booked, which means there is a slim chance you can check in early. I was disappointed by this fact after arriving in Vienna on a early morning flight. We were not able to refresh ourselves in the most comfortable way possible. I do appreciate that the front desk kept our checked bags while we went out to explore. We were able to check in around 2 pm so that worked out in the end. The hotel room is spectacular and very clean. For your reference, we went with the studio option. I appreciated how big the room was for an European hotel room. The room had a kitchenette, small dining area, sofa and a washer/dryer combo. The bed was also very comfortable so we had a good night’s rest. The washroom was well-renovated and was very clean. However, I was not the biggest fan of their toiletries (shampoo and body wash) so it might be best to bring your own. Overall, this hotel is very nice but unfortunately, we had a poor experience with the climate control in the room. It was a warm day in Vienna and also very humid outside. The hotel had turned off their air conditioning that very day and the air conditioning did not work in the room. The ventilation fan was not sufficient. The room was super stuffy and we were constantly sweating in the room. We spoke to the front desk about this and they mentioned some of their guests were cold so they turned on the heat in the building. If you need a hotel with air conditioning capabilities on a warm day in the fall, Adina may not be right for you. This would be the main reason as to why I did not give the hotel the full five stars. If they fix their climate control system, I would really recommend this hotel.…
Short stay of less than 36 hours. Breakfast area is OK (not too big) but options are limited. Layout is very cramped for breakfast items. Room was excellent with all amenities needed included complete kitchenette (no microwave though) and washing machine/dryer in room. Would definitely stay again if I happen to go back to the city
We always enjoy the Adina experience and this was also the case with location. The staff were nice and helpful and Nadia who is now studying was especially nice and considerate by acknowledging our birthdays with a surprise Cake wich was a very warm and thoughtful touch. The hotel is only 100 meters from the main train/bus station and there are buses that take you directly to airport.
Absolutely a great aparthotel! Its bran new, clean and modern. Rooms are big and well designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. They provide coffee capsules, dishwasher capsules, and washing machine capsules. There is room cleaning and fresh towels on a daily basis. The ladies at the reception were super attentive and nice. The D light train is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel and will take you directly to karlsplatz, museum quartier and city hall. The main train station is about 6 minutes walk including the airport line, and the U metro line can be reached from inside the station (around 10-12 minutes walk in total from the hotel). The only negative i can think of is the pillows are really soft (but its like that in most hotels in Austria).
This Hotel is top notch and the staff is very friendly and above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! The amenities are incredible and the hotel is easy access to the central train station. The breakfast is not included but worth the $
