This is one of my favourite hotels!! Situated perfectly in the "center" of everything -yet quite. Great rooms, fantastic bed, friendly staff, very good service. Good working place and the view to the dome is calming. I will be back one of these days.
Came here for the second half of our visit to Austria. A good base in the Inner Stadt for exploring.

ideally for staying 1-3 days. Really centrally located, good standard and well priced.
Even breakfast was included in our arrangement. The breakfast room had not windows (very central city location) but they had put nice paintings on the walls which gave a warm atmosphere.
Stayed here 3 nights. Hotel is in good location near Stephansplatz U station, making it convenient to get to everything.
Moderate hotel with large rooms for European standards. No fridge in room.
Heating good (no over heated) and bed very comfortable. Breakfast adequate, good selection,...More

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
Again, I will repeat what the above reviewer rote ... we were a group of 55 people and I know that 3 gals roomed together ... there was a room with twin beds but then they had a separate little room with another single bed... More
Again, I will repeat what the above reviewer rote ... we were a group of 55 people and I know that 3 gals roomed together ... there was a room with twin beds but then they had a separate little room with another single bed ... not sure which floor this was on but you can ask this question through their website. Good luck. I hope they can accommodate your request ... you will enjoy staying at the Wandl and it's great location! Happy Travels!
