I stayed for 2 nights. Great location. I was in a single room, which was the smallest I have ever seen. Bathroom great, but the room itself is really very tiny for this price. Breakfast was great, best coffee I ever had in a hotel.

Location is great of this hotel.Walk away to high street and cathedral. Building and interior is beautiful specially round stairs which are very wide and in lovely red color. Rooms are very basic and no luxury at all but very importantly its very neat and clean every where. Breakfast was nice except no egg station so you have only choice...

I was a little disappointed with this hotel. It is a 5 star and is quite pricy but doesn't feel luxurious at all..... I have stayed in many hotels that are much much nicer. We did book a standard room but it was small, cheaply furnished and there was no view (only an internal stairwell). Also, the towels are small...

Good hotel in very good location. I really like this hotel style. Breakfast is good and everywhere where I walked was clean and nice a little old style feelings. Hotel is small just in center of Vienna.

This hotel offers 2 great things: location is fantastic, the building itself beautiful. The room I got first was really small and not so nice (and dark), but the one I got afterwards (for some additional money), despite still being small, was on one of the top floors and rather "light". Simple, but nice. Staff was a little "complicated" when...

Hotel has very central location. You can go to Kartner street in 2 minutes by walk. Hotel is clean, staffs are friendly and helpful (Claudia is my favorite). Breakfast is also satisfied. I stayed in double room, it is good, but my friend stayed in single room. It is extremely small. Take this into consideration while you are booking. I...

Went to Vienna for a few days and wanted a good located hotel. Hotel Wandl was excellent choice - clean, great location and a quiet room. My only advise is to when booking a room - check several booking sites ad well as the hotel's website itself. We managed to save a lot of money (Expedia showed much better prices...

Close to Stephansplatz this family run hotel offers nice, rather small rooms and a good mid-european breakfast. Free Wi-Fi is included. Air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TV. No restaurant, but lots of restaurants to choose from close by.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
