Location near Stephansplatz and the U-Bahn so very convenient for getting around. Stephansplatz was such a fun place at night to 'people watch' and enjoy gelato on warm evenings. Staff extremely helpful with directions. The Interior rooms were 'interesting' --- windows looked out onto the stairway, so we needed to keep curtains closed when we were in there. Lovely Klimt...

Room faced a brick wall and there was no wifi coverage at all. On enquiring I was advised that it is an old building, however the website states wifi all areas. No fridge or tea/coffee facilities. That said the room was clean and the hotel is central. I would not return purely as I consider wifi essential.

The location is really good (not 5 min to the Stephansplatz and the U-Bahn Station). The breakfast is ok, I expected more from the previous reviews. Yes, you got scrambled eggs, and you could have had sparkling wine, but the choice of cheese and ham was rather poor, the rolls and bread were rather simple, and the cereals were just...

I you were finding the city center location, you can try it. You will be exactly in the very center of Vienna. However I didn't nave a quiet night. I think the hotel should improve its noise insulation, especially in the bathrooms. Moderate. Would not visit for the next time. Sorry.

A very recommendable hotel in the heart of Vienna near Stephansplatz and underground. Nice and clean rooms as well as very polite staff. Good breakfast. It is a quiet place, shops and restaurants close by.

Visited for a girls weekend with 5 others. Hotel is centrally located in a perfect position for visiting main attractions. Rooms are small but comfortable although our room didn't have an outside facing window or air conditioning but a ceiling fan. It was spotless. It also didn't have any tea or coffee making facilities but this seems to be usual...

Location is great - easy walking distance to many of Vienna's main attractions and underground. We stayed on 2 occasions. First room we had was a Superior Double that was quite spacious with wonderful views of St Peter's. Second time round we had a Standard Double that was small, sparse with views of a courtyard. Therefore you get what you...

The location cannot be beaten as it is in the perfect place to explore the old city. No air con in summer in a 4* was not brilliant but the hotel did provide a fan. Also no coffee making facilities in the room.

Hotel is in the city center and near all the tourist places. Staff is friendly and cooperative. They dont have AC in rooms and opening the window didn't help as it was opened to a closed patio. You have to ask them for a fan. Room decoration and furniture is good. No fridge. They dont have their own parking but...

Easy to find, simple check-in, spacious & cool room. Staff are so friendly & fun. The Spanish Riding School, The Opera, The Danube & the great shopping areas are in easy walking distance. Vienna knocks Paris into a cocked hat! We're coming back again & again & we are always going to stay here.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
