Excellent location, about two blocks from the Opera House. The room was beautiful and had nice Viennese touches - very classy feel. We stayed on the 4th floor overlooking the main strasse. It was hard to find at first since it has a modest, non-descript...More
This is an older hotel that my wife booked based on a Rick Steve's tour recommendation. When you first arrive the first impression probably is not the best. The entrance is shared with business and residential with the hotel occupying the 4th (top) floor. The...More
At the heart of Vienna and Kaertner strasse.
Small pension, really cosy and clean.
Our room was spacious and traditionally furnished, which we liked.
Small breakfast room but really nice and also tranquil. The breakfast was satisfactory.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
