What a great hotel, fantastic staff,so warm, friendly and helpful, the comfy bed was very welcome after a day of sightseeing which its location is superb for, also convenient for a relaxing evening to unwind by dining out and having a few drinks, there are loads of bar/resturants 10 min walk away. Everything was spotlessly clean, definite reccomend

My friend and I were in Austria recently to visit friends and we stopped in Vienna before returning home. This pension is clean and comfortable, in a wonderful location. The room we had was a great size and really nice! The shower and bath were also good size. The breakfast was excellent and the hospitality was really great. I would...

Best thing is the location and owner. It is a simple, small room, bed and shower in suite. Not fancy, comfortable. We had noisy neighbors and the owner apologized. Not fun, but, not her fault. Location is about 10 minutes walk to most sites. It takes a couple of days to learn the ropes, but they were very helpful. Free...

Great location in the Old City of Vienna, an excellent location for exploring Vienna. The rooms were immaculately clean and tidy. There was obvious attention to detail paid. The host was very warm and accommodating. The breakfast buffet was lovely and provided us with adaquate fuel to easily explore Vienna by foot.

I was really pleased with my two nights at Pension Lerner. The location is terrific and close to transport. However, if you are like me and prefer to explore on foot, this place is perfect. An easy walk everywhere, I didn't take transport other than getting to/from train station. Very clean, very cute, very cozy with a lovely breakfast that...

Great location in Innere Stadt (Old City) Vienna if you want to tour on foot. Comfortable room with toilet and shower (some of the rooms have the toilet in the hall). Reasonably priced including a lovely buffet breakfast. Owner is friendly and helpful.

This hotel is with in walking distance of all important sights. It is conveniently close to underground station "Herrengasse", from where you can get to the airport in a short time. The breakfast is good and fulfilling. The rooms are acceptable. Only irritating factor in our room was lack of hooks for the towels in the bathroom and (as usually...

Great location for all main Vienna attractions. Comfortable, nice rooms. We had 2 rooms for 5 people. Good breakfast. Friendly hosts. Lots of restaurants nearby. St Stephens was about a 10 minute walk. The main palaces were 10-15 minute walk away. Rooms were pretty quiet even though they faced the street.

We had a great stay at Pension Lerner. It is right in the heart of Vienna. 5 minute walk to St. Stephen's Cathedral, Mozart House, and Ringstrasee. Pension is quite and serves a wonderful breakfast spread. The owner recommend a great restaurant our last night called Finsterer Stern. A must if you are in Vienna.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
