We stayed three nights in Vienna and this hotel was perfect. Just a block from stephansplatz, nice rooms, ok breakfast, really friendly staff and great wifi. They where always helpful and gave us the best help when needed. Not sheep but absolutely reasonable regarding location.

Hotel's location is optimal for transfer from the airport and visiting the old town. Our room was large and clean. Hotel provides slippers and nice set of toiletries, but no bathrobes. WiFi reception was week in our corner room, but still sufficient to check the mail. Entrance to the hotel and public areas sport a dated look. Breakfast buffet offers...

What a great little hotel! We stayed a total of 6 nights in two different rooms (having gone to Salzburg for a few days in between). Location, location, location! We loved being able to walk everywhere. The hotel is literally less than one minute away from St. Stephan's Cathedral, and located in front of the church is a subway station...

This hotel is conveniently located and the room felt like a comfortable apartment. The concierge was helpful and made a great dinner reservation at Dom Beisl for us. That being said, our room was directly on the street and it was noise-y.

The location of this hotel/Pension is great. On a small street, hence, quiet, it is very close to St Stephen's Cathedral and within walking distance of all the historic buildings along the Ringstrasse. Breakfast buffet was great. Rooms - large. Showers in most rooms, so if you MUST have a bathtub, ask. We were a small, family group with 5...

A great hotel, and a great staff. The Domizil is located downtown near Stephensplatz and the Mozarthaus. The U-bahn stop was right down the street, and services both the 1 and 3 lines, which gets you to/from either the Hauptbahnhof or Westbahnhof, not to mention the opera house and palaces. Though only a block or so off the main tourist...

Great location, in the shadows of the Stephansdom, as well as very close to good shopping and restaurants. Great, friendly staff, nice size rooms and huge bathrooms. Clean and comfortable, good breakfast and fast wifi. Would stay here again.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
