I stayed here for 3 nights in July and found the location to be perfect - a good walk into centreville if I wanted to stretch my legs, and if I was feeling less active, a short jaunt to ride public transit. My room overlooked the street and it was possible to hear noise from outside, but it wasn't overly...

This is a nice quiet hotel with very helpful, well-presented staff, but there were niggly things about it that need to be sorted that if done would make this a very good hotel. The room 026 was of good size with ample storage and high ceilings but it is clear that that have been led by the designers over practicality....

What a lovely room and bathroom. We enjoyed the breakfast and taking a warm bath. The room was a bit to warm for us at night so we opened the window. But the street is a bit loud. Overall a very good stay and lovely breakfast

We really like this hotel. Situation is perfect and very closed to main attractions in Vienna. The area is very trendy. The room was nice and clean but decoration is a little bit unpersonnal. We prefered the one we had last year with wood and smaller. so much cosy

The cleaning of the rooms need to be improved; the rooms should be better prepared for the guests. But the Front Office Manager, Martina, tried her best to fix things, changing our rooms when needed. The breakfast was very good and the bed very confortable.

Close to, but not in, the city centre, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are quite large, comfortable and well-equipped - there's even a coffee pod machine - although I'm not sure about the two windows between the bathroom and the bedroom. A good breakfast, good service and excellent free wi-fi make this a good choice.

Hotel is very well located close to Museum Quartier with its charming atmosphere as well close to main shopping street Mariahilferstrasse (both within 15min walking distance). Hotel is fine and clean and staff is nice to guests. Rooms are not the most modern ones but clean and maintained.

This would be a great hotel for the business person. My room was ultra modern. The headboard doubles as the desk. Very clever as a space saving method. The beds, pushed together single beds in the Austrian fashion, are very comfortable, as are the pillows. I did not give this hotel 5 stars for two reasons: the glass shower partition...

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
